The rest of the show’s designs emulate this. The animation from Studio Mir is fantastic, and each of the characters has the more innocent, younger appearances that animated shows allow for. If Lex was designed as the dark, brooding figure from DC Comics, it would feel completely out of place with the rest of My Adventures with Superman. With his more innocent design, Lex’s turn can be more drastic, but only when My Adventures with Superman‘s overall tone leads into more mature, dramatic storytelling.
