The cover pays tribute to some of the Webslinger’s most memorable looks, in a celebration of Spider-Man’s long, iconic history as a superhero.

Russell Dauterman shared The Amazing Spider-Man #53 variant cover art, featuring Peter Parker’s most famous suits from throughout the years of Amazing Spider-Man, all of them hanging from a web by a threat.

The variant includes Spidey’s original red-and-blue suit in three different designs; the black symbiote suit; the Future Foundation suit, the Iron Spider, and even Peter’s Electro-resistant suit. It also features some outlandish one-time-only Spider-Man suits, like Captain Universe, Big Time, and Peter’s horrifying full-Spider form. Each of these suits has its own story, and helped Peter Parker grow into an even better hero.
