The heroes always save the day, but in Biker Mice from Mars: Toxic Earth fans will enter a post-apocalyptic landscape where the planet was lost, instead.

As if the unforgettable trio of Biker Mice weren’t already ‘metal’ enough, the heroes Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie will finally get to inhabit their own ‘elseworlds-esque’ alternate universe depicting one possible future for the original animated series. And with the first plot details officially confirmed, the story coming from Grammy-nominated artist and music video director, Carlos “Spiff” Suarez will be a must-see for the diehard fans.

Biker Mice From Mars Finally Get Their Own Post-Apocalypse ‘What If?’

While the Biker Mice from Mars series previously saw the heroes wage war against the evil Limburger, fleeing from their home planet to Earth in hopes of keeping resistance alive, Biker Mice from Mars: Toxic Earth jumps two decades into the future. As history unfolds it becomes clear that their battle was fought in vain, and the Plutarkian was successful in all but annihilating planet Earth. Of course, with the planet in ruins… it may be up to the surviving Biker Mice to finally set things right. Read on for the official plot synopsis:

In an alternative universe, 20 years after Lawrence Limburger successfully wipes out the planet Mars, he rules over planet Earth creating a toxic post-apocalyptic wasteland where the few survivors hide from mutated mindless creatures in the last city on Earth, Chicago. After their planet was destroyed, the Biker Mice From Mars are among Earth’s survivors, but the trio has split up and disappeared. However, the fight against Limburger continues under the resistance leadership of Charley Davidson and her daughter, India. India goes to find and reunite Throttle, Modo, and her father, Vinnie, in hopes of ending Limburger’s reign of terror. It won’t be an easy path to victory though, as a vicious, ruthless Super Plutarkian bounty hunter is hot on India’s trail, and it will stop at nothing to end India and the Biker Mice once and for all.

With Chicago as the last city left standing on Earth, Charley leading the resistance, and confirmation that she and Vinnie had a daughter together (at least in this reality), this alternate corner of the new NacelleVerse comic line is guaranteed to be aimed squarely at the original franchise’s biggest supporters. And according to Spiff TV, Biker Mice from Mars: Toxic Earth and the larger NacelleVerse as a whole is positioned to give comic readers something new:

“Working with Nacelle will be an amazing experience as I have been working in the comic book, film and television space all throughout my career, while discovering new music talent and directing in the Hip-Hop and Latin Music industries. I can’t wait for the world to see how all of these worlds will cross-over into each industry to share more diversity on-screen and comic strips, and give the public a fresh and new creative perspective.”

Biker Mice from Mars: Toxic Earth is expected to release in 2024 from Oni Press, as part of its growing NacelleVerse of comic books.
