Solo Leveling: Arise has one material that should be saved for late-game leveling. This new action gacha game is inspired by the popular South Korean webtoon, playable on PC and mobile. A recent Solo Leveling: Arise interview detailed how players will experience the dungeon-clearing story themselves while building and strengthening a roster of familiar characters. However, as most gacha games do, the best characters will be locked behind a banner that must be pulled on using a specific currency.

Those familiar with similar games like Genshin Impact or Honkai Star Rail will easily adapt to these systems. Characters will require some resources specific to them and some higher tier ones needed by all. These upgrades will be crucial for the characters’ level and ensuring their abilities can withstand or damage the game’s strongest enemies. However, early access to the game has revealed that one high-tier level-up resource is hard to come by.

Mana Power Extracts are a high-tier resource to level up character skills past a certain point. These are crucial for getting the maximum potential out of each skill. Characters also have a variety of skills that can be switched out depending on what activity a player chooses to challenge. Thus, it will be important to level each skill appropriately for the most well-rounded characters.

How To Get Mana Power Extracts In Solo Leveling: Arise

Based on information from Solo Leveling: Arise previews, there are three known ways to get Mana Power Extracts. They will be rewarded throughout completing the main story, which will be the first way many players receive them. Second, some can be obtained by completing specific achievements, but the majority of those will be long-term goals that are inefficient for quick leveling. Finally, the Extracts can be purchased from the exchange shop, but each will require 150 Platinum Commemorative Coins.

However, these Coin purchases have downsides. First, only three can be bought for every reset, which can heavily limit upgrade choices. Second, the coins are not easy to come by, only being received from story progression and pulling banners. Even with that, SR pulls reward two coins, and SSR pulls reward ten. This combines to make the Coins and, by extension, the Mana Power Extracts, a limited resource for most players.

Overall, these grinds will likely lessen as the game’s official release and more information is known. If Arise follows the trends of other gacha games, new ways to earn Extracts are likely as the game progresses. However, when Solo Leveling: Arise releases on May 8, players should make sure to save Mana Power Extracts and the Commemorative Coins to purchase more.
