The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills should bring back past housewives to help revamp the franchise in its fourteenth season. The Beverly Hills-based Real Housewives series used to be one of the best shows in Bravo’s repertoire. RHOBH has arguably been on a downward spiral since Lisa Vanderpump left after season 9’s Puppygate storyline. There’s a clear line in the sand between the women on the show, which makes the show feel manufactured and inauthentic. RHOBH is in dire need of a change, and Bravo needs to act fast before it loses one of its best franchises.

Crystal Kung Minkoff and newbie Annemarie Riley are not returning for RHOBH season 14, marking the second season in a row a first-time Beverly Hills housewife has been axed after a lackluster first showing. With Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Garcelle Beauvais, and Sutton Stracke seemingly left, it’s obvious more housewives need to be added to flush out the group. Instead of searching for new women to join the series, Bravo should tap into some of the great past housewives that could restore RHOBH season 14 to all of its glory.

There’s no denying that adding an OG Beverly Hills housewife to the modern cast of RHOBH would be interesting. Camille Grammer has always been an entertaining housewife, and she even made an appearance alongside other past wives on RHOBH season 13. She attended Kyle’s weed-infused dinner and got along well with the cast. Camille was a full-time housewife for the first three seasons of the show and came on as a friend from season 5-7. Though she didn’t have a permanent spot in the latter seasons, she brought a flare that RHOBH season 14 would benefit from.

Adrienne Maloof Helped Pioneer RHOBH From Season 1-3

As another OG RHOBH housewife, Adrienne Maloof would be a shocking casting decision. Like Camille, Adrienne was on RHOBH seasons 1-3. She’s popped up during filming for RHOBH seasons 5, 6, 8, and 10 since her departure, but has never given an in-depth update on her life. It would be fascinating to check in and see what she has been up to in recent years. Adrienne is still embedded in Beverly Hills society and frequently attends events in the city. It’s fun to see the OGs return, and Adrienne could be a great housewife for RHOBH season 14.

She Would Fit In The Best With The Current Beverly Hills Housewives

Denise Richards would be the most likely ex-Beverly Hills housewife to reappear for RHOBH season 14. She had a dramatic departure after Brandi Glanville alleged that they hooked up. Lisa Rinna arguably drove her off the show and broke their relationship in the process. Denise was a well-known figure before she joined the Real Housewives. She brought something fresh to RHOBH, and she had a fun time on the show during her first year on season 9. However, Denise’s feud with Erika on RHOBH season 13 makes her the perfect person to cast for season 14.

She attended Kyle’s weed-infused dinner party alongside Camille on RHOBH season 13 and started conflict with Erika. Denise was upset with Erika over how she spoke in front of her children a few years ago on the show. Erika was taken aback by this, and it seemed like Denise’s anger was misplaced towards her because Rinna wasn’t on the show anymore. They fought again during a Taco Tuesday party held by Crystal, and things got nasty. Denise has a great friendship with Garcelle and Sutton, making it the perfect time for her full-time RHOBH return.

In recent years, there have been rumors about Eileen Davison coming back to RHOBH. She was in season 5-7 and was lightly featured in season 8 and 10. However, according to All About The Real Housewives, Eileen will potentially take on a full-time spot on RHOBH season 14. In her first few seasons, Eileen was a great addition to the cast. She is an honest and level-headed housewife, who is few and far between to come by. She’s also an Emmy winner and received the honor on the show.

Cynthia Bailey was never on RHOBH, but she’d make a great addition to the show. Having starred on RHOA, she moved to Los Angeles and has a good friendship with Sutton. Cynthia made a brief appearance on RHOBH season 13, thrilling Bravo viewers. No past housewife has made the jump to another franchise and become a full-time cast member. Recently, RHOBH OG Taylor Armstrong joined RHOC season 17 as a friend of the cast, which could be an option for Cynthia. There are few real relationships left among the women of Beverly Hills.

Cynthia is already close to Sutton and friendly with the rest of the cast, so her casting would not feel out of left field. The network has dropped the ball in terms of casting in recent seasons. Diana Jenkins was a one-and-done housewife in Beverly Hills season 12, as was Annemarie in season 13.

However, their bond is much stronger now, and they would work hard to ensure that RHOBH would not break apart their sisterly relationship.

Kim was featured briefly on RHOBH season 13, which has sparked the idea of her reappearing on the show. Instead of taking on a full-time housewife role, it would be fun to see Kim join as a friend of Kyle’s in the upcoming season. As a friend, she wouldn’t have to share too much about her life and could act as a support system for Kyle on the show. It would be best if Kim joined in this supporting role for RHOBH season 14. She’s a fixture of the franchise and is deeply embedded in the founding history of RHOBH.

Kathy Hilton Would Make The Perfect Friend For RHOBH Season 14

Kathy Hilton joined RHOBH season 12 as a friend of Kyle’s, which was devastating for their relationship. Conflict arose after Rinna insisted that Kathy had a meltdown and said horrible things about Kyle during a cast trip to Aspen. The incident hurt Kathy and Kyle’s relationship for quite some time. Nowadays, they’re close again and have moved past the drama. Kathy made a shocking return for the finale of RHOBH season 13 to show the progress she’d made with Kyle and support her amid her separation from her husband, Mauricio Umansky. Kyle’s not against Kathy reappearing on the show either.

“She’s been an amazing source of support for me through this time, so I would just like to keep that going and keep our relationship strong, and just laugh.”

In a clip posted to E! News’ YouTube channel, Kyle said she would be open to Kathy returning to RHOBH. “Of course,” she said, adding that she wouldn’t want to “have any problems” with her as a storyline on the show. She could champion Kyle in the season as she did during the season 13 reunion. The fate of Kyle and Mauricio’s marriage is still up in the air. If she chooses to film for RHOBH season 14, having her sister in her corner could give Kyle more strength.

Will Lisa Vanderpump Ever Return to RHOBH?

It’s highly unlikely, but Lisa Vanderpump could save RHOBH. Her departure from the show was one of the biggest casting blows for any Real Housewives franchise. While Lisa was iced out by her fellow Beverly Hills housewives during RHOBH season 9, she stayed in the audience’s good graces. Lisa continues to star in one of the best reality TV shows right now, Vanderpump Rules. However, VPR is more focused on showcasing the lives of her ex-SUR staff members instead of her own life. Since she left Real Housewives, her return has been anticipated, though she shows little interest in returning.

Her friendship with Kyle dissipated because of RHOBH, which may be one reason she hasn’t come back yet. She’s forged new friendships with Garcelle and Sutton which would be entertaining to watch on the upcoming fourteenth season. Lisa is very busy running multiple restaurants and doesn’t have a real reason to return to the drama-centric environment that is present on RHOBH. However, if Bravo insisted on her return and axed a few of the remaining housewives that Lisa doesn’t particularly get along with, she could potentially return. It’s highly unlikely, but fans still hold onto hope for an LVP comeback.

RHOBH is going to have to bring in a few new housewives for season 14 to work. Several old housewives could join in a full-time or recurring role. So many iconic personalities were birthed on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and having some of them return could save the show altogether.
