What Happened In One Piece Episode 1103

Bonney Comes Face to Face With Her Father’s Memories

One Piece episode #1103, “Turn Back My Father! Bonney’s Futile Wish!”, continued with CP-0’s invasion of the Labophase and saw Kaku try to destroy the Thousand Sunny. Zoro, who had stayed behind with Brook, stopped Kaku in his tracks, and sure enough, a fight broke out between Zoro and Kaku.

Meanwhile, Luffy finally reunited with the rest of the Straw Hats to find that none of them knew where Bonney was and that Vegapunk had gone missing, as well. Sure enough, Bonney had run into Vegapunk after he slipped away from the group, and with her Devil Fruit powers, Bonney was able to subdue Vegapunk and force him to explain why he turned Kuma into an emotionless cyborg.

Vegapunk explained that Kuma willingly chose to undergo the procedure and that he promised to keep his reasons secret from Bonney, all of which Bonney refused to believe. As they kept talking, Bonney discovered a giant bubble created from Kuma’s Paw-Paw Fruit, something that Vegapunk, for whatever reason, didn’t want Bonney to see. No further explanation for it was given, and the episode ended with two big setups for future developments: the Kidd Pirates arriving at Elbaf and Garp going to Pirate Island to save Koby.

One Piece Sets Up Another Massive Battle

Garp in episode 1103

Everything that happened with Bonney and CP-0 in One Piece episode #1103 was certainly big, but the biggest development is definitely Garp going out to save Koby. As pointed out in the episode, Garp’s attempted rescue is going to force a fight between him and an Emperor’s crew, so this is the best chance to show off why Garp is constantly hailed as one of the strongest characters in the series. Seeing that play out is sure to be one of the biggest events in all of One Piece, and hopefully, it will come about sooner, rather than later.

Be sure to watch One Piece episode #1104 when it releases on Saturday, May 11.
