The official streaming release date for The Zone of Interest has been revealed. The movie, which was written and directed by Under the Skin‘s Jonathan Glazer, follows the home life of Hedwig Höss (Sandra Hüller), and her Nazi commandant husband Rudolf (Christian Friedel) on a plot of land just outside the Auschwitz concentration camp. The movie, which holds a Certified Fresh 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes, won two Oscars at the 96th Academy Awards ceremony.

Alongside a still from the movie, the Tweet reads “Winner of two Academy Awards, A24’s The Zone of Interest begins streaming April 5 exclusively on Max.” This news, coming just three months after the movie’s U.S. premiere, marks its first official streaming release, though it is already available for purchase and rental on various VOD platforms.
