Sheldon’s storyline in Germany continues after he wins an argument against Mary about coming home after a tornado ravaged Medford. Unfortunately for him, things aren’t as fun as he thought his international summer program would be. While the boy genius has always found school and academics easy, Sheldon learns the harsh truth about his abilities as he continues his stay in Germany.

In the Young Sheldon season 7 clip, Mary meets a new girl who comes to Sheldon for tutoring. The Cooper matriarch initially assumes that her son will be helping her until discovers that it’s the other way around. This marks the first time that Sheldon encounters someone as smart, if not smarter than him since he first encountered Paige at Dr. Sturgis’ East Texas Tech lecture.
Will Paige Return In Young Sheldon Season 7?
Grace’s character isn’t a series regular, but Young Sheldon has managed to come up with a compelling storyline for her. Like Sheldon, Paige is highly intellectual. However, she is better adjusted and more social. George and Mary’s son immediately saw her as a rival, but she wasn’t interested in competing. Instead, she was more focused on living a normal childhood. Unfortunately, things went awry for her after her parents split up, leading her down a dark path of rebellious acts. The last time she was in Young Sheldon, she and Missy were arrested for driving without a license.
A set image for Young Sheldon season 7 suggests that Paige will have an appearance, although there hasn’t been any confirmation about it. That being said, it makes sense that CBS and the writers want to bring her back one last time, especially given how they left her storyline in limbo. Since Paige wasn’t in The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon is the only remaining opportunity for the franchise to give her a definitive ending — unless she makes an appearance in Georgie and Mandy’s upcoming spinoff, which is supposed to premiere during the 2024-2025 TV season.

Since Paige’s storyline has been one of the best original plots that the prequel has come up with, it must have a satisfying closure. Granted that Young Sheldon has pretty much dropped her rivalry with Sheldon, paving the way for the show to challenge the boy genius’ intellect in other ways, it would be great to see them together one last time. Otherwise, a team-up with Missy would also be interesting.
