An Apple Watch provides a handy way to check off items on a shopping list, but if Google Assistant is used to create the lists, it can be difficult to connect the two. Naturally, an Apple Watch works best with an iPhone, HomePod, iPad, or Mac. While Google does make iPhone and Apple Watch apps, they might not integrate as well as others. For example, the Keep app for Apple Watch doesn’t have a complication, so it has to be found and opened from the Grid View, List View, or the Dock.
Apple did a great job of making an Apple Watch’s functions easy to access and intuitive. While there’s a side button to open the Dock and the Digital Crown can be rotated to scroll through lists, the touchscreen is quite capable of handling most interactions very well. Use Any.do With Google & Apple
Any.do can be set as the default provider for Notes & Lists within Assistant settings. The default setting is to have a separate shopping list that is only accessible from Assistant or a Google website. After this is set up, items can be added to a list on Any.do with verbal commands made to Google Assistant. If using a Google Nest speaker or Hub with an iPhone, the Notes & Lists setting can be found in the Google Home app, under Home settings.
By installing the Any.do app on an iPhone and Apple Watch, these shopping lists can also be viewed and updated from an Apple Watch.
