“Y’all Need To Rewatch Fury Road”: Furiosa’s CGI Sparks Fierce Debate Over New Mad Max Movie

Furiosa‘s first trailer has just recently online, and social media users are now debating the trailer’s CGI. Directed by franchise veteran George Miller, Furiosa serves as a prequel to 2015’s acclaimed Mad Max: Fury Road. The upcoming film sees Anya Taylor-Joy take on the role of the titular warrior for an epic origin story, a part previously played by Charlize Theron.

Now, following the Furiosa trailer’s release, X, formerly known as Twitter, has become something of a battleground as users debate the use and quality of CGI and visual effects in the film. While some are disappointed over how digital effects are implemented in the film, others argue that Mad Max: Fury Road utilized the technology in much the same way to critical acclaim.
