WWE 2K22: The Best MyGM Manager (And Which You Should Choose)

WWE 2K22: The Best MyGM Manager (And Which You Should Choose)

The MyGM game mode has returned to WWE 2K22 and provides players with six Manager options to choose from. Choosing the best Manager will give players the best opportunity to beat their friends and other online players. Also completing a season of MyGM will provide the player with a Locker Code in WWE 2K22.

The goal for players in MyGM is to put on successful shows each week by controlling a WWE brand. Players will need to beat their opponent, whether AI or online opponent, in ratings and total revenue generated. Players get a starting budget to acquire WWE talent, book arenas and create special effects.

However, before starting all of these MyGM tasks in WWE 2K22, the player must first choose which Manager they wish to compete as. There are six total choices: Adam Pearce, Sonya Deville, William Regal, Stephanie McMahon, Shane McMahon, and Custom Superstar. Each option comes with their own unique power card that can be used throughout the season. Therefore, choosing the right Manager is crucial to dominating opponents throughout the season.

Choosing The Best Manager In MyGM In WWE 2K22

The first thing is understanding what each Manager’s power card does for the player in MyGM mode. Below are each of the six Managers are their power cards:

  • Adam Pearce: Instigator – Increases the levels of all active rivalries by 1.
  • Sonya Deville: A Superstar’s GM – Raise the entire roster’s morale by 15.
  • William Regal: Legend Whisperer – The first legend in WWE 2K22 signed on the given week by the player will be free.
  • Shane McMahon: Coast To Coast – A GM interference booked on the given week will provide an additional +2 show bonus and will be free to book for that week.
  • Stephanie McMahon: The McMahon Presence – Earn twice as much money from the arena attendance for the given week.
  • Custom Superstar: Beginner’s Luck – Raise the popularity of the superstar with the lowest popularity on the player’s roster by 20.

It is important to note that these power cards can only be used once during the entire season. The problem with Adam Pearce’s power card is that it requires perfect timing to get the full effect. Rivalries end after a PPV fight and can also go stale and lose effectiveness if there are too many fights before the PPV in WWE 2K22. Sonya Deville’s power card is not great because it should already be easy for the player to keep fighter morale high. William Regal’s power card is a massive advantage for early in the season. However, in a 25-week or 50-week season, the card loses value as the legends are cheaper since the player must continue to resign them throughout the season.

Shane McMahon’s power card isn’t great because higher show bonuses can be accomplished by the player through active rivalries and signing top superstars. Stephanie McMahon’s power card is not great for 15-week seasons but is excellent for longer seasons if used around the middle of the season. This can be worth up to an extra $150,000 if used correctly. The Custom Superstar power card in WWE 2K22 can be incredible for saving money by signing a mediocre superstar and making them a high-level superstar.

Based on these pros and cons for each Manager, the best choice is likely going to be William Regal. His power card will allow the player to get a free legend and boost the popularity of the shows. That saved money can be used on venues and a more balanced roster throughout the season. This choice should give the player the optimal experience in MyGM mode in WWE 2K22.
