Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood & Honey 2 Posters Reveal New Looks At Owl & Tigger’s Horror Movie Versions

Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood & Honey 2 Posters Reveal New Looks At Owl & Tigger’s Horror Movie Versions

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 character posters reveal a closer look at more iconic children’s characters turned killers. The original Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, which turned the public domain children’s book by A. A. Milne into a slasher movie, earned $5.2 million off its $100,000 budget in 2023. The upcoming sequel, which was also directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, will continue to follow Christopher Robin (now played by Scott Chambers) as he is stalked by his former friends from the Hundred Acre Wood, who have turned into killers due to their neglect and abandonment.

Dread Central has now shared a set of four exclusive character posters from the upcoming Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. Two of the posters showcase the upgraded looks of returning killers Winnie-the-Pooh (Ryan Oliva) and Piglet (Eddy MacKenzie). The remaining pair bring the additional characters Owl (Marcus Massey) and Tigger (Lewis Santer) to bloodthirsty life. Check out the new posters below:

Will More Characters From the Hundred Acre Wood Appear in Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2?

The Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey cast of killers has already doubled for the sequel. However, there are quite a few characters from the iconic Winnie-the-Pooh books that haven’t made appearances in upgraded horror movie form. In addition to the four characters featured in these posters, Christopher Robin’s childhood friends from the Hundred Acre Wood also included Eeyore, Rabbit, Kanga, and Roo.

So far, the Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 trailer hasn’t given any indication that other characters from the Hundred Acre Wood will be appearing as killers in the movie. Canonically, it seems unlikely that Eeyore will be making an appearance, as he was devoured by the rest of the Wood’s denizens when they were starving to death. Owl and Rabbit were present during that moment in the prologue to Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, but did not appear as killers in the main timeline.

What Happened To Owl & Rabbit In Blood & Honey (Were They Eaten?)

Owl and Rabbit were with young Christopher Robin in Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey, but why did they disappear, was their fate the same as Eeyore’s?

One reason the cast was limited in the original movie was that Tigger did not appear in the first Winnie-the-Pooh book and thus didn’t enter the public domain until two years later. However, Eeyore, Rabbit, Kanga, and Roo all entered the public domain at the same time as Pooh. This means that, at this point, any of the main characters can be utilized in Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. However, the filmmakers may be saving those characters (particularly Kanga and Roo) for future installments.
