Gwendlyn “Gwen” Brown from Sister Wives has started to speak out regarding the family drama, and she’s leaving breadcrumbs which may show that Janelle Brown walked away from her marriage. Gwen is the daughter of Christine and Kody Brown, and as of late, she has been sharing the polygamous family’s dirty laundry. Now, the 21-year-old is setting the record straight.
During a TikTok live shared by @MrsKickstand, Gwen seemingly confirmed to fans that Janelle had called it quits with Kody. While Gwen’s friend Sara was conducting the live Q&A, she shared with Gwen that everyone thinks, “Janelle is going to leave your dad.” Gwen’s friend replied, “Well, she already did leave, I’ll speak out on that.” Gwen can then be heard yelling, “Yes!” in the background. Gwen dropped another clue in the TikTok, after a viewer asked if it “only” Meri and Robyn remained with the patriarch. Gwendlyn replied, “Yes. I think.”

Multiple Sister Wives fans then asked why Kody and Janelle were seated on opposite sides of the aisle while attending their son Logan Brown’s wedding. Gwen snarkily took a jab at her father’s favorite spouse, Robyn, noting that he sat next to her. Gwen also admitted that she did not like Robyn, as she asked fans not to bring her name up again during the video. Gwen hinted that while Meri is still hanging around, she has found her own chosen family with her new friend group.
Sister Wives fans went wild in the comment section, pointing out that they knew Janelle wouldn’t be too far behind Christine. The two mothers have had an extremely close friendship, with Janelle being the only one who has supported Christine on her divorce journey. It is quite possible that Janelle saw how well her friend was doing, and also wanted to try her hand at not having to answer to the patriarch.
Janelle sparked split rumors earlier this year, when she shared with Sister Wives fans that she had decided to live on the Coyote Pass land in an RV. Kody has made it pretty clear that he was not thrilled with the decision, and would rather enjoy the comforts of home with Robyn. Viewers also learned that he and Janelle are no longer intimate, with the mother of six claiming that she was fine with their relationship. For now, Gwen’s statements are possible confirmations that Janelle left, as she appears to be a very reliable source.
