Paige DeSorbo is a breakout star on Bravo, and she may be securing a permanent spot on Southern Charm. As a popular fashion influencer and reality TV personality, she has appeared in two shows on the network and could add another one to her already busy schedule. The Summer House star is at the center of a significant storyline this season, which focuses on Craig Conover’s reignited fling with his ex-girlfriend, Naomie Olindo. On Southern Charm, Paige is being roped into the drama, and her name comes up frequently, even when she’s not around.
Southern Charm season 8 may have been Paige’s debut on the series, but she and Craig have crossed paths on other Bravo shows. The two met when Craig visited the Hamptons in earlier seasons of Summer House. However, Paige and Craig became close friends in Vermont on the Bravo spinoff, Winter House. At the time, Craig was still dating his ex, Natalie Hegnauer, and Paige fell for her fellow housemate, Andrea Denver. Bravo fans are very much invested in Paige and Craig’s budding relationship and were regularly keeping up with their subtle clues on social media. The reality stars were officially exclusive in September 2021 when Paige posted a snapshot of the pair at Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s wedding on her Instagram story.
It is very common for Bravo stars to introduce their significant others on their respective reality TV shows, and many later joined the show as cast members in future seasons. In the past, there have been Southern Charm stars like Austen Kroll’s ex-girlfriend Madison LeCroy, Shep Rose’s girlfriend Taylor Ann Green, and Naomie, who all started as guests or friends on the show before becoming full-time cast members. If Paige joins Southern Charm for season 9, she would be one of the few Bravo stars to appear on multiple long-running shows as a main cast member.
Now that Paige is getting more screen time on Southern Charm season 8, it’s likely that she’ll be a regular on the show if she and Craig go the distance. This season, Craig is under fire for hooking up with Naomie in Las Vegas before he was official with Paige. The other Southern Charm stars are worried about how Paige feels about this situation, especially since it was revealed that the exes hooked up more than once. While it seems like Paige isn’t bothered by Craig’s rebound romance, her feelings may eventually change when she spends more time around Craig and Naomie in Charleston.
Viewers were eager to watch Paige make her long-awaited trip to Charleston to reunite with Craig. When Paige met the other Southern Charm cast members at Kathryn Dennis’ thirtieth birthday party, she seemed to get along well with everyone so far. Since Summer House and Winter House film for shorter amounts of time, Paige could juggle multiple reality shows as long as the filming schedules don’t overlap. Only time will tell to see if she leaves New York City to make South Carolina her home, as long as Patricia Altschul approves.
