Since 2020, The Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen has been at the center of one of the most publicized celebrity feuds due to her clash with her former close friend, Kim Kardashian. The duo first became friends in 2011 while filming Kourtney and Kim Take Miami. After that, they were practically inseparable. Things changed dramatically in 2020 when Larsa was left off the guest list of Kim’s sister Khloé Kardashian’s thirty-sixth birthday extravaganza. However, new details came to light in March 2023 when an old Hollywood Unlocked interview resurfaced.
In 2019, RHOM star Larsa hosted her own celebration for her forty-fifth birthday. Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney Kardashian, along with Kendall and Kylie Jenner, were all in attendance. However, that was the last event now Miami housewife was spotted with the Kardashians. At first, fans assumed the separation was due to their concerns regarding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, Larsa later revealed that it was something else.
Larsa Opens Up About Kardashian Feud
Although Larsa claimed there were multiple reasons for their falling out, she was never shy about revealing who she feels was to blame for the demise of their friendship. The 48-year-old believes that Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West was the reason why she was ousted from the Kardashian’s inner circle. She went so far as to accuse Kanye of brainwashing Kim and her family into staying away from her.
Hollywood Update Clip Of Larsa Pippen Explaining Feud Resurfaced
In March 2023, a clip of Larsa’s 2021 interview with Hollywood Update resurfaced, in which the interviewer asked if Larsa felt betrayed by the Kardashians. She responded, “hell yeah.” The resurfaced clip prompted Larsa to reiterate the dissolution of the years-long feud. Despite the resurfaced interview, Larsa and Kim had apologized to each other in 2022 via Us Weekly, and the feud was evidently over.
Previously, during a 2021 episode of RHOM, Larsa further explained, “I was best friends with Kim, and I love her and I love Kanye, and I just was the person that was stuck in the middle.” She added, “I was the friend that was basically there and saw everything. And that basically was the demise of our relationship. I knew too much….That’s kind of what happened.” The fact that Larsa weighed in on the feud publicly probably didn’t help in terms of building the foundation for a reconciliation, as the famous reality family doesn’t appreciate bad publicity.
She shed additional light on the animosity between herself and the Kardashians when she alleged that she had dated Khloé’s baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, prior to them getting together. Larsa claims to have brought Tristan to the party as her date when the famous basketball player met Khloé for the first time. She believes her previous relationship with the NBA star likely played a role in the Kardashian family members’ decision to distance themselves from her.
Despite all of this turmoil, the feud did finally come to end. In January 2022, Larsa and Kim apologized to one another. The Real Housewives of Miami diva said that she and Kim are in a “good place” and wished her well when Kim was dating Pete Davidson. However, the resurfaced Hollywood Update clip proves that fans haven’t quite moved past the infamous Larsa versus Kim feud.
