Captain Jason Chambers made waves on Below Deck Down Under season 1, with many fans feeling he was the best part of the show, and now fans want him to return for season 2. Captain Jason made headlines as the youngest captain in the Below Deck franchise, and had a lot to prove coming into the show. The 38-year-old is a father to his 7-year-old daughter, Saskia, and spends his time with her after the charter season ends. He brought years of yachting experience to Below Deck Down Under, and an adventurous spirit, taking guests on once-in-a-lifetime excursions. Captain Jason has traveled all over the world for his job but was born and raised in Australia, making him the perfect captain for Below Deck Down Under.
The Thalassa crew on Below Deck Down Under had some hiccups along the way, ultimately leading to two crew members getting fired and others barely skating by. He displayed a softer side when he helped deckhand Benny Crawley redeem himself by the end of the charter season.
