Robo Girl has made it to the next round of The Masked Singer season 8, and a new promo reveals the two new contestants who will compete against her on Muppets Night. On Andrew Lloyd Webber Night, Robo Girl impressed the panel with her rendition of the title song from Bad Cinderella. She then competed against Gloria Gaynor as Mermaid, during the Battle Royale. Although they both sang beautiful renditions of “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” from Evita, the panel chose Robo Girl to move on to the next round. Robo Girl’s identity is still under wraps, but the panel guessed that she might be Jenna Dewan, Becky G., Lucy Hale, Keke Palmer, Cara Delevingne, or Selena Gomez.
In a recent promo for The Masked Singer Muppets Night, shared by Hey Masked! on YouTube, Robo Girl’s two new competitors were revealed. They will be the Lambs, and Beetle. The Masked Singer teaser begins with Miss Piggy and the Snowths singing “Mahna Mahna” with the panel. A voiceover then declares, “It’s a masked Muppet takeover. And a showdown so startling, you’ll be seeing green.” Panelist Nicole Scherzinger is then shown saying, “This is brutal.” Other Muppet guest stars appearing in the clip include Kermit the Frog, who introduces the Battle Royale, Animal, Fozzie Bear, and Crazy Harry, who makes his signature move: blowing up the set.
Masked Singer’s Robo Girl Will Compete Against The Lambs & Beetle
The Masked Singer Lambs are a three-person group. They are dressed as Southern belles. One is pink, one is purple, and one is blue. In an Instagram post, The Masked Singer revealed their Mask-Ray clue to be a milk bottle. Beetle is a ladybug with four arms, and a yellow face and hands. He wears a gray suit, and has a moptop haircut, which is reminiscent of The Beatles. On Instagram, The Masked Singer shared that his Mask-Ray clue is a leaf.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the next multiple contestant Masked Singer costume, ever since The Brady Bunch brothers, Barry Williams, Christopher Knight, and Mike Lookinland, were revealed to be the Mummies. Past group costumes have included some iconic performers, including the Russian Dolls (who were Hanson), and the Queen Cobras (who were En Vogue). The Lambs will surely be just as fun to guess as the previous group costumes. Beetle is also an intriguing disguise, especially since it points to the obvious choices of the two living legend members of The Beatles, Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney. Having either one of them compete would be amazing for The Masked Singer. However, they might be too obvious as possibilities for Beetle’s identity.
Muppets Night is sure to be raucous and zany, as the beloved puppets bring their iconic brand of entertainment to The Masked Singer stage. Robo Girl, the Lambs, and Beetle will battle it out for the chance to earn a place in the semi-finals, alongside Harp. The Masked Singer Muppets Night is sure to be “the most sensational, inspirational, celebrational, Muppetational” episode yet.
