The Ultimatum: Queer Love dropped another set of episodes, which included the admission of love from one of the five new couples who formed on the show. The hit Netflix spin-off show saw five new couples forming after the original five couples split up. This led to newcomers Yoly Rojas and Xander Boger declaring their love for each other during their trial marriage.
Xander and Yoly entered The Ultimatum: Queer Love as cast members who gave marriage ultimatums. Xander had wanted to marry her partner Vanessa Papa, while Yoly was ready to tie the knot with Mal Wright. However, they split up and started dating each other. Mal partnered with Lexi Goldberg, while Vanessa partnered with Lexi’s original girlfriend, Raelyn Cheung-Sutton. This formed three of the five new couples on The Ultimatum: Queer Love season 1, though only Xander and Yoly expressed true love by the end of their trial marriage.

Xander and Yoly fell in love quickly on The Ultimatum: Queer Love season 1. This led to them declaring their love for each other during their three-week trial marriage. Both women felt a deep compatibility and comfort with each other that led to fast physical intimacy. “Trust, stability, honesty. I feel like you are all of those things,” Xander told Yoly as they both declared their love for each other. “I can feel like I’m the right person for you,” Xander said to Yoly later during episode 5. “But I want you to decide what’s best for you,” she added.
Did Yoly & Xander Say I Love You Too Fast?
While viewers watched Yoly and Xander develop a bond on The Ultimatum: Queer Love season 1, there’s always the concern that they moved too fast. Mal said Yoly falls in love too quickly, which makes her relationships seem less special. Xander also expressed fear that Yoly would have the same feelings for Mal that Yoly had for Xander. This possibility certainly complicates Yoly and Xander’s budding romance.
By the end of episode 5, a lot is still up in the air for Yoly and Xander. The women expressed a deep bond and were unhappy to leave each other. However, their feelings for their exes didn’t vanish. Xander is likely ready to leave Vanessa, as Vanessa had not been a good partner to her. However, Yoly and Mal have a more complicated relationship.
