Which Jersey Shore Stars Have Been On DWTS (& Which Should)

Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino has been shocking fans as he continues to improve his ballroom dancing skills on Dancing With The Stars. While Vinny is the first Jersey Shore star to compete on the show in quite some time, he follows in the footsteps of some of his former roommates who also have given ballroom dancing a try.

For the first time ever, Dancing With The Stars has moved from airing on ABC to Disney+. In addition to this, the show has also brought on former winner Alfonso Riberio as Tyra Banks’ cohost. As the group of stars approach week 6, Vinny has managed to survive elimination week after week. Not only has he and his pro partner Koko Iwasaki survived elimination, they have also not been in the bottom two at all this season. With his dancing skills slowly improving, Vinny is starting to earn higher scores from the judges.

Vinny Follows In The Footsteps of Two of His Jersey Shore Roomies

Vinny is not the first Jersey Shore star to trade in the fist pumping for ballroom dancing. Two of his former roommates have also competed on Dancing With The Stars. In 2010, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino competed on season 11 of the dancing competition. The Jersey Shore breakout star was partnered with former pro dancer Karina Smirnoff. The duo was eliminated during week 4. Three years later, during season 17, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi took on the ballroom. She and pro partner Sasha Farber were eliminated during week 7.

Although Vinny is the first Jersey Shore star to compete on Dancing With The Stars in quite some time, perhaps it will inspire one of his other roomies to give the dancing competition a try. A good contender would be Deena Cortese. Deena has a fun and energetic personality who is always down for a good time. The only reason Deena may turn down the opportunity is because of her two sons. Angelina Pivarnick, on the other hand, would be quick to jump at the opportunity, especially now that she is newly single.

For now, the Jersey Shore stars will continue to cheer on Vinny before any of them consider giving ballroom dancing a try for themselves. As he continues to succeed on the show, Vinny is nearing the point in the competition where he will become the longest lasting Jersey Shore star on Dancing With The Stars. Could he actually take home the Mirror Ball Trophy? Fans will have to keep voting, tuning in and wait and see.
