Where To Watch Welcome to Wrexham Season 2

Bolstered by the first outing’s Emmys buzz, Welcome to Wrexham season 2 returns to chronicle a new chapter in this real-life underdog story. The hit sports docuseries follows Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds’ efforts to purchase and rehabilitate Wrexham AFC, a floundering professional football club. The fifth-tier Red Dragons might be the third-oldest soccer team in the world, but, when the actors-turned-sports-team-owners take the reins, the Welsh club could are sure to need a great deal of help.

However, that’s easier said than done. Not only have McElhenney and Reynolds never worked witch each other before, neither star has any experience running a sports team. Part crash-course in football club ownership and part underdog triumph, Welcome to Wrexham season 1 is an outlier in the sports docuseries world. Even so, the show is like Formula 1: Drive to Survive in that it’s incredibly gripping, though it packs more heart (and laughs) than most sports-centric docs. Thankfully, Welcome to Wrexham season 2 carries on that spirit — even if there is less Ryan Reynolds.
