Illumination is back with another animated movie, and determining where to watch Migration, either at home or in theaters, depends on a few factors. With only a 1 hour and 31 minute runtime, Migration‘s showtimes are a great length for families to visit theaters together.

When Will Migration Release On Streaming?
Universal has yet to confirm exactly when Migration will be released on streaming. It is known that the film will be available exclusively on Peacock when that time comes, eventually followed by a stint on Netflix as well. Using The Super Mario Bros. Movie as a guideline, it is possible to determine when Migration is likely to release on Peacock. The animated Nintendo movie got its streaming release four months after its successful box office run. The same schedule would mean Migration releases on Peacock in April 2024 for its streaming debut.
When Will Migration Release On Digital?
The earliest opportunity to watch Migration at home will come through its digital release. Illumination and Universal have yet to officially announce when this will be, but the movie will eventually be made available to buy or rent on most major PVOD platforms. If the studio’s handling of The Super Mario Bros. Movie is followed, then Migration‘s digital release date should come roughly two months after it hit theaters. This gives the movie a strong exclusive theatrical run and would mean making the film available at home for families potentially as early as February 2024.
