Where To Find Fwoopers In Hogwarts Legacy

Where To Find Fwoopers In Hogwarts Legacy

Among the many magical beasts that you can catch in Hogwarts Legacy is the Fwooper, a bird with brightly colored feathers whose song can drive anyone who hears it insane. However, despite the obvious risk, rescuing wild Fwoopers is an essential task as Fwooper Feathers are a valuable resource often used to craft gear upgrades in Hogwarts Legacy. Like many other magical beasts, Fwoopers can be found and caught at specific sites across Hogwarts Legacy’s open world.

You will need to complete The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom main quest before they can upgrade gear in Hogwarts Legacy or catch magical creatures. During this quest, the house-elf Deek will give you the Nab-Sack and teach you how to capture a variety of wild magical beasts. This can be a tricky process, and you might have to use spells to make capturing certain beasts easier. To catch Fwoopers, players first need to locate Fwooper Dens.

Where To Find And Catch Fwoopers In Hogwarts Legacy

Where To Find Fwoopers In Hogwarts Legacy

Fwooper Dens can be found at all the locations marked on the maps above, mostly in Hogwarts Valley. If you’re at a lower levels, you might prefer to visit the Fwooper Dens located northwest of Feldcroft or southwest of Keenbridge, as these locations are relatively close to Hogwarts Castle

Unlike Hogwarts Legacy’s extremely rare unicorns, Fwoopers can also be found by visiting dens further away from Hogwarts in the Poidsear Coast region and southeast of Bainburgh. There are actually two Fwooper Dens next to each other southeast of Bainburgh, making this a great location for you to improve your chances of catching Fwoopers.

According to the Youtube channel LunarGaming, once you have arrived at a Fwooper Den, you should be able to see Fwoopers flying around nearby or pecking at the ground. Fwoopers are easy to spot but can be a little tricky to catch, as you need to hit the catch button four times.

Unlike other magical creatures, Fwoopers can easily escape by flying away, so you need to catch Fwoopers when they’re on the ground and act quickly. Once you have caught one of these rare magical birds, you can release it in the Room of Requirement’s Vivarium. This allows you to feed and brush it to obtain Fwooper Feathers that you can use to upgrade gear in Hogwarts Legacy.
