WB has not established a regular schedule for how long it takes their new movies to come release on Max, though. Their other 2023 movies range from House Party‘s 49 days, which is the shortest, to Magic Mike’s Last Dance‘s 98 days, which is the longest. The remaining 2023 movies began streaming between 60 and 70 days.

If The Nun 2‘s streaming release date follows the average for Warner Bros., then the movie will likely be on Max in November 2023. It has a September 8, 2023, theatrical release date, and mid-November would be 70 days after this. Considering fellow 2023 franchise horror movie Evil Dead Rise came to Max after 63 days and a successful box office run, a similar timetable should work for The Nun 2. This means that those not wanting to watch the movie in theaters and currently subscribe to Max can expect to see The Nun 2 become available on the service about two months later.

Those wanting to watch The Nun 2 at home before it releases on streaming have another option to consider too, as it will release on Digital before. Warner Bros. has not confirmed when The Nun 2 will release digitally yet. However, an October 2023 release is realistic. This would give the movie anywhere from four to seven weeks to play exclusively in theaters. Exactly how long audiences have to wait to see The Nun 2 on streaming and Digital will likely depend on the box office performance, but it could arrive at home right in time for the Halloween season.
