Daniella Karagach has yet to make her return to the Dancing With The Stars ballroom following her recent quarantine. Daniella has been in quarantine for over a week. This mandatory quarantine was due to a positive COVID-19 test. Despite testing positive, Daniella did not feel sick and was asymptomatic.
On Monday, September 26, Daniella tested positive for COVID-19. Her results came just hours before she was set to hit the ballroom for Elvis Night with her partner Joseph Baena. Luckily, both Joseph and Daniella’s husband, pro dancer Pasha Pashkov, tested negative; however, they both wore masks during the live show as a safety precaution. Daniella was temporarily replaced by troop dancer Alexis Warr. Joseph and Alexis shocked the judges with their last-minute performance. The duo also managed to survive eliminations.
Daniella Also Missed James Bond Night
Yet another DWTS live show has come and gone without Daniella. Following Elvis Night, Daniella was forced to remain in quarantine for the entire following week. Alexis continued to take her place as she and Joseph rehearsed all week long for week 3’s James Bond Night. While fans were sad to hear Daniella would miss out on yet another live show, she did share some exciting news on her Instagram story just hours prior to the show. Daniella was cleared to return to rehearsal following James Bond Night.
Daniella’s return was dependent upon Joseph and Alexis’ success during James Bond Night. Luckily, the two did survive elimination while also scoring a 29 out 40. Therefore, Daniella will make her return to rehearsals this week in preparation for week 4 of the dancing competition. Despite his ultimate success two weeks in a row with Alexis, Joseph has been at a disadvantage since Daniella’s quarantine began. While all the other contestants have been able to grow connections with their original partners, Joseph was forced to readjust to not only dancing with but also learning from a brand new partner.
Now, after a tough week, Joseph and Daniella will be reunited as they prepare for the upcoming Disney+ Night. Since Disney Night is one of the most beloved nights of a Dancing With The Stars season, Daniella, as well as fans, is excited to make her return to the ballroom just in time. There is no doubt the pro dancer will pull out all of her tricks to make her return a huge hit in the ballroom.
