The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga is finally sharing her new home with husband Joe Gorga, and fans have a lot to say about the couple’s residence. Since joining the RHONJ cast in 2011, Melissa has never been shy about revealing her luxurious lifestyle to her fans. Originally from Toms River, NJ, the Bravolebrity now resides in Franklin Lakes, NJ with her husband and three children, Antonia, Gino, and Joey Gorga. She’d lived in Montville, NJ for most of her adult life. The duo has finally built the house of their dreams for their family, and Melissa has taken credit for some of the property’s design elements.
Melissa, who is married to Teresa Giudice’s brother Joe, has spoken openly about her new home on social media. She’s shared tidbits about the residence throughout the construction process. In fact, she has been posting about the house for quite some time, first debuting it on her Instagram in January 2022. The RHONJ star has yet to share the inside of the residence, but has revealed that it’s at the top of a long and winding stone driveway; the house appears to be quite large. Since fans were intimately familiar with her 9,100-square foot Montville mansion, many are curious about the new Gorga family home’s specs. In a new Instagram post, Melissa shared a video of the outside of her new home, captioning it: “The one that I want🖤🤍 Always wanted a chic white brick house. We love what we do🫶🏼Work hard play hard. Can’t wait to show you inside. @joeygorga #housedesign”.

While followers have not seen much of the house in Melissa’s prior updates, this time, she shared the façade of the house, along with the detached two-car garage. Fans had a lot to say about the new build in the comments section. Many felt that the house was a bit off, with user @mrs.klmvb explaining, “It’s missing something, maybe shutters or ivy or super tall foliage.” Social media user @randy_frose said, “Of all the houses they’ve had this by far looks the cheapest ,ugliest 🤷🏼♂️. Looks like a college dorm or hotel . Very odd window size and the peaks for the roof are just randomly placed . The small 2 car garage doesn’t fit . Sorry not sorry . Great for them to have their dream home.”
While some fans were quick to judge Melissa’s new home, others were incredibly supportive of their favorite Real Housewife. Melissa has given fans a peek into her previous RHONJ homes, and followers are excited to see this one as well. Instagram user @superwoman.1245 exclaimed, ”Beautiful home and I know it will be beautiful on the inside as well…..” while fellow fan @the_glamma said, “WOW to the critics! She’s proud of her new home! You didn’t even give a compliment; you found something to complain about. Special people…”. Though there is some criticism on her post, many of the Bravolebrity’s fans went to bat for her, and defended Melissa’s dream home to others.

As the Gorga family settles into their new home, many fans have been looking back on a video posted to Bravo’s website earlier this year. The video features a view of the house prior to renovations, where Melissa shared that she had designed the home herself. She’d added that she wanted to ensure that there was a bigger closet and kitchen than she had before. While RHONJ’s Melissa, whose independence is challenging for her husband Joe, has always been on the lookout for new opportunities, fans are curious to see if she can add “design” to her long list of skills. While she has some haters, most people are happy to be included in The Real Housewives of New Jersey family’s journey.
