Big Brother Reindeer Games is off to an exciting start, with legends of Big Brother past coming back to compete for a whole new prize, including Britney Haynes and Nicole Franzel, who rehashed their long-time feud in the series premiere. Nicole, who competed on Big Brother 16, 18, and 22, joined Britney, who competed on Big Brother 12 and 14, and the rest of the cast for a brand-new holiday iteration of Big Brother. While the new series focuses more on competition than social strategy, it does have several components to the game that require maintaining good social relationships with the other competitors.
In the premiere of Big Brother Reindeer Games, the competitors were revealed, and the layout of the game was explained. Each of the six episodes of BB Reindeer Games will feature three separate competitions, the first giving one competitor the Naughty Or Nice power, which allows them to gain an advantage in the next competition while giving a disadvantage to another player. The second competition puts all the players in the mix, and the winner or winners will ultimately choose the two players who will face off in Santa’s Showdown, an elimination-style head-to-head competition that sends one player packing.
What Happened Between Britney Haynes & Nicole Franzel Before Big Brother Reindeer Games?
Britney and Nicole’s prior issues stemmed from their time on The Amazing Race season 31. Britney was competing with fellow BB alum Janelle Pierzina during the reality TV star season of The Amazing Race and originally believed she had Nicole’s loyalty, as they were all friends. Janelle shared during her time on Big Brother 22 that her issues with Nicole began when she saw Nicole backstab her close friends, fellow Big Brother alumni Rachel Reilly and Elissa Slater. Janelle explained that she simply didn’t like Nicole afterward, which carried over to Britney, as well. Since The Amazing Race season 31, the women have not been close.
How Did Britney React To Nicole Being On Big Brother Reindeer Games?
While it was likely that Britney and Nicole didn’t know they’d be encountering each other on Big Brother Reindeer Games, the women didn’t seem like they were too surprised to see each other at first. After Britney won the first competition and secured the Naughty Or Nice power, she had the opportunity to meet with her fellow players to talk about what she would be doing. Nicole was afraid to talk to Britney at first as she was convinced she was going to be a target. While Britney shared that she wasn’t the biggest fan of Nicole outside the game, she wasn’t going to let their real-life issues impact her decisions.
Will Nicole & Britney Be Able To Put Their Differences Aside For BB Reindeer Games?
The two women may have agreed it would be better for them to work together rather than target each other, but will Britney and Nicole’s issues be too much for them to set aside? Though they have problems that extend far past the scope of Big Brother Reindeer Games, Nicole and Britney have spoken about the fact that there are much larger threats in the game outside each other. Both women expressed interest in targeting the strong male BB players, explaining that they need to be able to rely on each other in the game. Big Brother Reindeer Games may have put Britney and Nicole’s infamous feud on ice.
