When Seeking Sister Wife season 4 premieres on June 6, Dannielle Merrifield and her husband Garrick Merrifield will return to television, and it’s time to talk about what Dannielle has been up to online. Dannielle and Garrick first appeared on season 3 of the show, as a married couple with two sons, Geremiah and Solomon Merrifield. While Dannielle was satisfied with their relationship back then, Garrick wanted more out of life, and became convinced that introducing another woman into their marriage was what God wanted.
Fans of Seeking Sister Wife pitied Dannielle throughout season 3, especially after she traveled to Mexico with Garrick, to meet Roberta Rodrigues. Although Brazilian-born Roberta and Garrick didn’t speak the same language, Garrick still asked for a divorce so he could marry Roberta and bring her to the USA. In addition, viewers were shocked when Garrick and Roberta revealed that they wanted to get pregnant. It’s been almost a year since Dannielle, Garrick, and Roberta have been featured on TLC, and with their complicated love triangle angering viewers last season, fans have been hoping that Dannielle grew tired of their polygamist arrangement.
Since Seeking Sister Wife season 3, Dannielle and Garrick have remained together, despite rumors that the two split up for good. In fact, Dannielle frequently posts photos and videos of her family on Instagram. However, she mostly utilizes the Instagram Story feature so her updates disappear after 24 hours. On May 19, Dannielle uploaded a picture of her kissing Garrick’s cheek, as well as a video of her hanging out with their children. Before then, however, Dannielle indicated in March that the Merrifields were going through a hard time, without giving specifics. “The last week and a half have been an emotional roller coaster!” Dannielle captioned a series of positive affirmations. “I would totally appreciate prayers for my family and I! Thank you to everyone who has supported my family and I.”
Besides Dannielle’s constant dedication to her family, the 34-year-old has been focused on her fitness journey over the past year. In January, Dannielle uploaded a series of photos showing off her fitness progress, and revealed that she started working out when she was 15 years of age. “I am always striving to better myself. This years resolution is to continue the journey loving myself and spilling that love over to others,” she wrote. A few weeks later, Dannielle not only touched on the topic of physical health, but mental health. She told her followers that she was looking forward to learning how to help others and mentioned how praying and meditating helped her.
While it seems like Dannielle and Garrick’s relationship has remained strong despite Roberta’s introduction during season 3 (and their subsequent divorce), anything may happen between the couple when Seeking Sister Wife season 4 premieres. Fans will surely keep a close eye on the Merrifields and the show’s other returning couple, Sidian and Tosha Jones. As well, viewers will get to know three new families: Steve and Brenda Foley, Nick, April, and Jennifer Davis, and Marcus, Taryn, and India Epps. With Dannielle and Garrick’s relationship with Roberta hanging in the air, their update is one of the most anticipated.
