What 90 Day Fiancé’s Jibri Is Revealing About His & Miona’s Divorce Rumors (Have They Split?)

90 Day Fiancé season 9 star Jibri Bell is finally explaining the truth behind his relationship status with Miona Bell as rumors of their split continue to circulate online. After meeting in Serbia where Jibri was touring with his bandmates from the Black Serbs, Jibri and Miona started dating. The makeup artist from Niš, Serbia and Jibri, who’s from Rapid City, South Dakota, got engaged in Thailand in December 2019. Miona moved to the U.S. despite not wanting to settle down in a small town. Jibri apparently spent all his money on their travel adventures and had to stay with his parents temporarily.

Jibri’s parents disapproved of Miona’s skimpy outfits, and they thought she was controlling towards Jibri. Jibri’s parents also believed it was best for them not to attend the couple’s wedding. Miona and Jibri tied the knot in Joshua Tree, California in 2021. However, there were rumors about them already being married before June 2020. Miona wanted a luxurious life that Jibri wasn’t able to afford, but she later claimed that they could always afford rent and were never as broke as the show may have led audiences to believe. This proves they have misled fans in the past, so are they lying about their current relationship status as well?

Jibri & Miona’s Life After 90 Day Fiancé Season 9

What 90 Day Fiancé’s Jibri Is Revealing About His & Miona’s Divorce Rumors (Have They Split?)

Following their time on 90 Day Fiancé season 9, Jibri and Miona received severe backlash from his loved ones as well as critics. However, Jibri and Miona didn’t seem to have any issues in their relationship apart from these outside forces declaring they wouldn’t make it. They used their social media fame well as Miona launched her beauty line called Miona Beauty. The signature ponytails in various colors, shades, and textures on her website received interest from fans. Jibri was supportive of his wife’s business. He shipped her boxes and showered her with positive affirmations.

By September 2022, Miona had made so much money from selling her wigs that she bought herself a brand-new Porsche. Miona praised herself for being a “24 year old immigrant woman” who managed to build a dream life in America within less than a year of moving there. Miona claimed to have earned a whopping $87,000 by selling ponytails in a month. November 2022 saw Miona and Jibri celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Rumors of Jibri and Miona starting a family soon began floating online. When Jibri and Miona hung out with Thais Ramone and Patrick Mendes after they welcomed their daughter Aleesi, Jibri admitted he was under peer pressure to have a baby.

Why 90 Day Fiancé Fans Think Jibri & Miona Are Getting Divorced

Miona and Jibri used to get thousands of likes on their Instagram posts together with several fans commenting on their positive content. It’s what made them stand out as influencers in the reality TV show’s universe. Unfortunately, in October 2023, their followers began to notice Jibri and Miona’s photos together missing from their pages. They not only purged their Instagram accounts but there are few signs the couple is married at all.

They have stopped liking and commenting on each other’s photos. Miona and Jibri aren’t wearing their rings anymore, at least based on their recent posts. Besides, Jibri is currently in Thailand. He’s been touring different Southeast Asian countries since mid-September. Meanwhile, Miona is still in Palm Springs. The extended separation raised eyebrows, but Jibri‘s latest move where he shaved off his head and eyebrows as a “symbol of renunciation of worldly ego and fashion” shocked their fanbase. Jibri and Miona are all about their flashy lifestyles and showing off their matching luxury cars for double taps.

What Jibri Has Said About His Split Rumors With Miona

Jibri doesn’t want that lifestyle anymore. According to his comments, he’s done “chasing fame and fortune.” He feels “light and free” now after realizing he doesn’t want to live for people’s compliments. However, despite the changes, Jibre maintains he and Miona are still together. When asked if they’ve split, Jibri was quick to reply with a “no.” However, he did have a lengthy response to questions about his relationship when a publication reached out to him for a comment. “Yes we are together we just don’t want anyone else in our business,” Jibri told the publication via Instagram DMs.

We don’t owe anyone an explanation,” Jibri continued. He also added a side note where he said, “The happiest couples I know don’t post on social media together.” Jibri asked his followers to not “idolize anyone” and just focus on themselves and their own progress. “Now that I’m maturing I also understand those of you who just focus on a peaceful existence in your own space without sharing everything with the public,” he added. Jibri feels it’s “magical” when someone just does things for themselves while keeping their circle small and their things private.

I also really respect you parents who put boundaries on your kids with social media and keep your family business private,” Jibri continued. He spoke about parents who are trying to profit and monetize content about their newborn children. Still, Jibri’s statements have come under fire because he is continuing to post what he does on social media, including his experience in Thailand at a Vipassana center. Jibri claims to have spent 72 hours in the dark with no food or water. He says he was told to share his journey and inspire others which is what he is doing by posting about it on Instagram.

Is Jibri Looking To Be Cast On 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2?

However, 90 Day Fiancé fans have good reasons to believe what Jibri is doing is a ploy to bring attention to his and Miona’s relationship. Jibri has alienated most of his cast members as seen during the season 9 Tell All where he tried to intentionally create drama and stir the pot in hopes of getting cast in a new season. Jibri and Patrick’s brother John’s infamous argument where the latter addressed him as “Sparkles” is memorable even today. However, while most of their co-star couples became Pillow Talk regulars, Jibri and Miona didn’t make the cut.

With shows such as 90 Day: The Last Resort being launched, 90 Day Fiancé couples dealing with extreme relationship problems are being given a platform by the franchise. By the looks of it, Jibri and Miona are heading towards divorce, and the spin-off would be the best platform for them to air their concerns to a panel of therapists. Jibri and Miona have earned themselves the reputation of being attention-seeking clout chasers, and the latest rumors are contributing to this perception. Jibri and Miona have also not yet unfollowed each other on IG, so it can be assumed it’s a sad attempt by them to return to the franchise.

90 Day Fiancé airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
