Watch Dogs: Legions – How to Recruit New Operatives

Watch Dogs: Legions – How to Recruit New Operatives

Players are finally about to be able to get their hands on Watch Dogs: Legion and begin building up their own hacktivist group. By doing this, players are able to take the fight directly to the evil corporation Albion and begin dismantling the organization piece by piece. Surprisingly, many of the people in London are pretty open to the idea of joining up with your group, so all players have to do is begin recruiting any random citizens that they can find.

Recruiting citizens to your group is actually a pretty major aspect of Watch Dogs: Legion and players will want to begin doing so as quickly as they possibly can. Some NPCs will be very interested in the idea whereas others will take a little bit of convincing before they will willingly join up with the player. This guide will show players how to recruit new operatives.

With the new ability to recruit any random citizen to DeadSec, players can have a lot of fun pulling in any citizen that they find. Almost everyone that players see on their journey is able to be recruited and it’s actually a relatively easy process the majority of the time. Most characters seem to have a pretty good view of DeadSec, but those who don’t will require players to complete a few more steps to acquire them.

In order to recruit new operatives players just need to approach a character and hold down Y/Triangle to start recruiting them. Players can also hold down the left bumper button to view the character’s stats and occupation to decide if they are worth adding. If they manage to pique the player’s interests they can then be added to a list of potential recruits by pressing the right bumper button. Only characters who view DeadSec positively can be recruited to the organization, so players will want to view their stats first before trying to recruit. Characters with a red thumbs down symbol will not be able to be recruited without completing a few tasks for them first. After players recruit a person though they will be given a recruitment mission to complete, after which the character will be added to their team permanently.

Watch Dogs: Legion can be played on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and will also release on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 on their respective release dates.
