Warzone & Cold War’s Season Two Reloaded Update Goes Live Tonight

Players have been awaiting the newest update to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, and the content added in Season Two Reloaded does not disappoint. The update will release tonight at 9 PM PT, March 29th, and will bring with it a variety of new maps and adjustments to the game. Players got a sneak peek at the Mansion map in a tweet by Treyarch Studios, which has now been confirmed as a 2v2 and 3v3 map, with small but intense gameplay scenarios. The update also features the Miami Strike map with a 6v6 layout, with an updated take on the original South Beach MP. Golova also joins the map rotation, bringing with it the largest multiplayer battles to date, including the all-new 40-player Hardpoint.

Season Two Reloaded also brings huge changes to Warzone, revamping the file size of the game. Previously, players struggled to keep Warzone installed due to its insane 143 GB size, turning Call of Duty memes into reality. Thankfully, Treyarch has worked on the issue and brought the file size down to 52 GB for PlayStation 5 and 4, 57.8 GB for Xbox Series X and One, and 52.4 GB for PC. Black Ops Cold War is also getting an updated file size, with reductions as low as 7.4 GB (for the PlayStation 4 version) and a maximum of 14.18 GB (for the Xbox Series X and S versions).

The Season Two Reloaded update was reported on in-depth by Call of Duty: Blog, detailing a tremendous list of changes being brought to the games tonight (as of March 29). The full update brings an expanded story to the lore of Call of Duty, as well as new maps, modes, features, and Zombies content. There will also be new operators and weapons, and additions to the Black Ops Cold War and Warzone stories.

Most notably, the update is bringing Multi-Team Hardpoint to Black Ops Cold War, which pins 10 teams of four against one another to control multiple Hardpoints at a time. The new mode adds a chaotic twist to the Hardpoint game mode and players should be excited to jump into one of the largest game modes in Call of Duty to date. The update also brings an advancement to the Zombies dilemma in the recent Call of Duty games, as the menace evolves in size and danger with each subsequent update. Season Two Reloaded makes Zombies even bigger, and forces agents to expand their search for outbreak sites across the Ural Mountains and into Sanatorium Night, a massive new region. This adds up to a considerable amount of content for Call of Duty Zombies.

Season Two Reloaded is also bringing new Prop Hunt maps and props, which will be easier to make use of if players know all the tips and tricks to get the most out of Prop Hunt. There are a plethora of new operators and weapons such as Wolf and Rivas (NATO), who come with their own backstories to explore. The ZRG 20mm Sniper is now in season, and there are new blueprints and bundles in the Black Ops Cold War and Warzone stores, alongside the operators and weapons.
