VPR’s Scheana Reveals Why She Thinks Raquel Filed Restraining Order

VPR’s Scheana Reveals Why She Thinks Raquel Filed Restraining Order

After the Vanderpump RulesScandoval” broke, Raquel Leviss took out a temporary restraining order (TRO) against Scheana Shay, who now speculates as to why. Tom and Raquel’s affair, aptly named “Scandoval” was discovered by Ariana while Scheana and Raquel were in NYC together for a taping of WWHL. When Ariana called Scheana, Scheana became angry, and Raquel claimed that this anger resulted in violence, which Scheana denied. Nevertheless, Raquel took out a TRO against Scheana upon her return to California.

In an interview with E! News, Scheana shared her opinion on why Vanderpump Rules‘ Raquel Leviss likely took out a TRO. “I think initially, she was trying to get out of filming the reunion, Scheana begins, adding, “I think she also was listening to her crisis PR and trying to paint this victim mentality and deflect from the affair.” Regarding this possible tactic, Scheana explains, “it didn’t work.” However, Scheana was happy for the TRO, saying “I got to remove myself from a very toxic environment.” Watching the taping through a live-stream in her trailer with her husband, Brock, Scheana noted, “I just got to sit back and watch it.”

Scheana Reveals If She’s “Walking Away” From Vanderpump Rules

With heightened tensions and a likely permanent fracture within the Vanderpump Rules cast and friend group, taping for future seasons could be a major undertaking for the cast and crew, as getting others to willingly film with Tom and/or Raquel seems highly unlikely at this point, aside from Tom Schwartz, Tom Sandoval’s business partner. When asked if she (and all other cast members) would remain on the show should Tom and Raquel return to filming for season 11, Scheana claims, “I don’t think any of us are walking away, but it’s going to be very hard to convince any of us to be in the same room. I’ll say that.”

Thankfully, just a few days after the taping for the Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion, Raquel filed for the temporary restraining order to be dismissed, allowing the two to return to filming again within the same room. During the court hearing, however, Scheana was the only party who showed, eager to deny all claims of violence made against her while discrediting Raquel’s narrative. Raquel’s inability to show up for something this huge gives Scheana’s opinions credibility, and if it is true that this was all a PR move, Raquel will hopefully be brought to task, as filling a fake report can bring about serious legal consequences.

One positive side effect seen post “Scandoval” is the strengthening of the friendships among the women. Once weary of the other, Scheana Shay and Katie Maloney are now happily hanging out together alongside their fellow co-stars and friends, Lala Kent and Ariana Madix. Scheana, Katie, and Ariana even DJ’d a recent Emo Night event, where they could be seen dancing, laughing, and hanging on each other in real time. As season 10 is still playing out, viewers are watching the old narrative, where Scheana and Katie are still at odds. If the ladies of Vanderpump Rules can keep this evolved friendships intact, season 11 could be a needed feel-good break.
