Vanderpump Rules Star Hit With Major Shade In American Horror Story Premiere – Watch Shocking Diss By Andy Cohen

In a surprise appearance on the highly anticipated American Horror Story season 12 premiere, Andy Cohen threw major shade at dishonored Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval. Tom has been ousted by most of his co-stars following his infamous Vanderpump Rules cheating scandal with Raquel Leviss. But he continues receiving media attention and entertainment opportunities despite his tarnished reputation. While most attention on him is negative, plenty of it works to his benefit. Tom was recruited for Special Forces season 2, is rumored to be part of The Masked Singer season 10 cast, and has sold out numerous shows with his cover band since the scandal broke.

The spotlight remains on Tom, as the American Horror Story season 12 premiere featured a satisfying dig at the Vanderpump Rules star. The scene, shared by @realityashley on TikTok, occurred on Andy Cohen’s infamous Watch What Happens Live show, where the host interviewed AHS veteran star Emma Roberts, playing actress Anna Alcott

Andy joked that actresses “would kill” for her latest movie role, to which she responded in classic eerie AHS fashion that she did, adding that “No one will miss him” though. Andy then guessed based on her clue, responding, “I know…Tom Sandoval.” The actress said she didn’t kill the VPR star but did “[f***] Tom Sandoval” to secure a spot on Andy’s show.

Will Tom Sandoval Appear On American Horror Story Season 12?

Since Emma’s character Anna didn’t kill Tom and joked about sleeping with him instead, an appearance of the Vanderpump Rules star may be in the cards. American Horror Story is known for its shocking and frequently sickening plots, and a Tom cameo would undoubtedly classify as an unpredictable twist. Andy’s shade toward the VPR star is on brand, but AHS always finds a way to run with an incredibly bizarre storyline. Perhaps Andy’s apparent dig at Tom is more than a brief comedic moment. Famous reality stars have accepted scripted TV opportunities; an example is seen in AHS season 12, with Kim Kardashian portraying one of the lead roles.

Bravo’s host playing himself on American Horror Story alongside Kim and referencing a Vanderpump Rules scandal is a defining moment for the reality TV genre. Reality stars have real access to fame that, in the years before social media, didn’t exist. A mention of Jersey Shore‘s Snooki, for example, wouldn’t generate an overwhelming amount of attention. Lauren Conrad probably won’t be cast in an impressively successful FX series for a supporting role. Most wouldn’t predict Tom to land a role on AHS or any other popular scripted shows, but Andy’s appearance and the Tom diss weren’t expected either.

Andy shaming Tom on a popular horror anthology series is a lot to unpack. The latter just finished filming with the rest of the crew for Vanderpump Rules season 11, and it will be interesting to see how the reunion goes. Tom will probably be excited about the fame and attention Andy provided with his shout-out, but he may have words for the host after this. Whether or not Tom is also set for a surprise appearance on AHS, there will be much to see of him on-screen in the coming months.
