Vanderpump Rules: Lala Kent Reacts To Randall’s Alleged FBI Investigation

Lala Kent of Vanderpump Rules is reacting on social media as her ex, Randall Emmett, is allegedly under FBI investigation for suspected pedophilia. News of the alleged investigation came out when Randall’s ex-wife, Ambyr Childers, was granted a temporary restraining order. Ambyr, who has two children with the movie producer, who is also the father of Lala’s daughter Ocean.

The Los Angeles Times was first to report on the allegations against departing Vanderpump Rules cast member Randall. They claimed they spoke to three individuals who were contacted by the FBI about the investigation. Once the story broke, Randall released a statement to Page Six, insisting there was no FBI investigation and calling the allegations “absurd.” He also mentioned having partial custody of his daughters, implying that wouldn’t be the case if these rumors were true. Shortly after her ex’s denial, Lala posted a telling Instagram story. While she didn’t mention him by name, she wrote, “Keep telling yourself whatever you need [to] help you sleep at night. You’re seen.”

But this wasn’t the only time she reacted to the news, as shown by fan account theholybravo on Instagram. One commenter claimed things “didn’t add up” because Randall still had partial custody of Ocean. Lala, who recently split from boyfriend Don Lopez, responded, “If you haven’t dealt with the family court system you wouldn’t understand.”

Lala Kent Fights Randall For Custody Of Ocean

Even before the latest allegations, Lala had repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction with the family court system. As one of the many celebrities to slam Balenciaga’s controversial kids’ ad, she’s made her passion for protecting children known. When Lala participated in a previous expose of Randall’s misconduct accusations, the director dismissed her involvement and the story as a whole. He argued that it must’ve been a ploy by Lala for sole custody of Ocean. The Spree actress has also supported Ambyr’s requests for custody, as the two developed a friendship after years of feuding. Their newfound camaraderie led Randall to allege Lala and Ambyr were conspiring to destroy his reputation.

At first, the end of Lala and Randall’s engagement seemed to just be over infidelity. Considering her own relationship with the producer began when he was still married to Ambyr, many co-stars and viewers were unsympathetic. In the Vanderpump Rules season 9 reunion, Lisa Vanderpump, Brock Davies, and Raquel Leviss all made critical comments. Fellow Bravo star Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi slammed Lala while defending Randall. However, in the months since, more allegations came out, painting a much darker story. Lala even accused her former fiancé of tackling her in an attempt to stop her from leaving.

Fans weren’t surprised by Lala and Randall’s split. But the increasingly dark aftermath has been very shocking, leading Lala to gain more support and empathy. Vanderpump Rules viewers’ initial skepticism was partially due to how much the single mom aggressively defended Randall in years past. The Give Them Lala author later admitted to being in denial, and called her season 9 feud with Brock “projecting.” Showing how much things have changed, Lala spent the holidays with Brock and Scheana Shay.

It remains to be seen if Lala will address the many allegations against Randall on Vanderpump Rules. The series is set to return for season 10 later this year. Fans are excited to see Lala dating again, alongside Katie Maloney. One thing is for sure, however: Randall will no longer be a cast member.
