Sources for Lala Kent claim that the outspoken Vanderpump Rules star is calling off her engagement to Randall Emmett and ending their relationship. Over the weekend, Lala started teasing signs of having issues in her relationship. Randall was spotted in photos and was accused of hanging out with other women. As a result, Lala seemingly moved out and checked into a hotel with their daughter Ocean Kent Emmett.
Lala and Randall have been going strong since she made her inception on Vanderpump Rules. At the time, the young SURver would boast about the lifestyle she was living thanks to Randall. She used to keep his name off the show because Randall was still legally married to his ex-wife Ambyr Childers, but after his divorce was finalized, Randall started making appearances on the show and eventually popped the big question to Lala. Earlier this year, they welcomed their daughter Ocean and were deciding how they would eventually tie the knot after putting off their wedding plans due to the pandemic.
Now, it looks like there’s trouble in paradise as sources confirmed Lala called it quits. “Randall always lives a double life,” a source told Page Six. “He lives the life of a husband or boyfriend, and then he lives the life of a serial partier and then goes on a bender.” Lala has since moved out and checked into the Beverly Hills Hotel with their daughter. Randall has been accused of cheating on Lala while he was in Nashville. Lala started teasing their split by archiving all of their photos together and posting a video with Beyonce’s “Sorry” playing in the background. This song is an infamous breakup track that many women resort to when calling out a cheating ex, so Lala was clearly trying to drop a hint by posting the song.
Lala was reportedly accompanied by two friends who appeared to be helping her move into a hotel. The breakup comes three years after Randall proposed to Lala while celebrating her birthday in Mexico back in 2018. Had they tied the knot, this would have been the first marriage for Lala and the second for Randall. During the 2020 quarantine, Lala touched on the many breakups she and Randall dealt with. “Well, Randall and I have almost broken up about a dozen times. So, you know you, this is definitely a test for people’s relationships,” she claimed in May 2020. The couple had plans of getting married last year, but the pandemic put a pause on that.
Recently, Lala has talked about wanting more kids, but Randall just isn’t on the same page. He already shares two children with his ex-wife and has a daughter with Lala. Now, it looks like their differences only put an even deeper wedge between them. On Vanderpump Rules season 9, which is currently airing, Lala has managed to ruffle the feathers of the entire cast. However, perhaps her anger could’ve been misdirected due to the marital issues she was having at home. With all the bad-mouthing she’s known to do, it’s likely she doesn’t have too many current cast members reaching out to console her during this public breakup.
