While they might not be on Vanderpump Rules anymore, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright seem to be doing just fine as new parents. Brittany gave birth to their son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, in April 2021, just months after announcing that they wouldn’t be returning to the Bravo reality show. Although they haven’t been on the show, both Jax and Brittany remain active on social media, giving fans a glimpse into their lives as new parents.
For example, just this week, Brittany had a “ladies night” with former cast mates Stassi Schroeder and Lala Kent, both of whom also had babies in the past year, per People. Later in the week, Brittany, Jax, Stassi, and Stassi’s fiancé Beau Clark also all went to Universal Studios’ Wizarding World of Harry Potter, per their Instagram Stories. Hey, it’s never too early to get a read on whether your infant is a Slytherin or a Hufflepuff, right? Judging from the group’s pics on Instagram, it looks like they all had a blast (more than the kids even) and Jax in particular revealed that the trip moved him to realize that fatherhood might be one of his many callings (along with, you know, starting a sweater line or cheese company).
Jax tweeted during the group’s trip, “I am now the dad that is an annual pass holder at @UniStudios and #disneyland not gonna lie I f***ing love being a dad. I get to be a kid all over again with my kid. @BNCartwright we ready for another one?” Who would have thought that the controversial reality star would be so into being a dad and wandering around Universal Studios with his wife, kid, and his ex? Life works in mysterious ways. Brittany didn’t respond to him on Twitter about having another kid, but it’s safe to say they’re going to talk about it eventually. She’s always said that she wanted a big family on Vanderpump Rules, and now that Jax is into it, she might as well take advantage of the timing.
Hilariously, both Jax and Stassi made sure to tag the theme park in all of their posts, which might be good social media practice, but could also be their way of getting those annual passes comped. Cruz does already have his own Instagram account, so his parents are certainly well-practiced in promotion.
Then again, maybe Jax was just really feeling excited about the day. The whole trip did move him to ask Brittany, quite publicly, if she was ready for another baby. It’s possible Jax has a softer side than fans have gotten to see over the years on Bravo. The guy everyone met on Vanderpump Rules would definitely not be happy to spend a day at a Harry Potter theme park, with Stassi no less, and find himself getting sentimental about it. Maybe you really can teach an old dog like Jax new tricks.
