Vanderpump Rules: All About Raquel’s Engagement Ring From James

Fans of Vanderpump Rules want to know everything about Raquel Leviss’ large diamond ring, and it’s time to share details about this special piece of fine jewelry. Viewers were thrilled when they saw James Kennedy get down on one knee to propose to Raquel. The young couple will now get the chance to share their wedding ideas on the series.

Raquel joined the Vanderpump Rules cast as James’ pageant queen girlfriend. She was a SUR server during the fifth season, and at that time, she appeared as a guest on the show. Raquel had just started dating the DJ, and she seemed very reserved. She returned to the cast during season 6. Raquel’s role gradually became more prominent, especially after she got into fights with Lala Kent. She became more involved in the drama as she also encouraged James to give up alcohol. As of season 9, Raquel is a full-time cast member who is looking to make her own mark. Raquel and James, who are sharing wedding plans, are now looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together.

Congratulations are in order for James and Raquel, as they’ve announced that they are officially engaged. While it was nice to see how much effort James put into the proposal, Vanderpump Rules viewers were possibly most interested in learning about Raquel’s beautiful engagement ring. James confirmed on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen (as per YouTube) that the ring was 2.5 carats. Page Six reports that the ring features a stunning solitaire diamond that’s “worth an estimated $100,000.” The design features a six-prong setting that, according to the experts, will never go out of style. The ring’s setting is believed to be crafted from “platinum or white gold.” James shared that proposing to Raquel was an out-of-body experience.

The bride-to-be was thrilled to be opening up a little blue box from Tiffany & Co. but was disappointed to learn that James had just used the wrapping, instead of actually setting foot inside the famed jewelry store. Raquel learned that she did have an authentic Tiffany diamond. However, James had chosen the specific setting for the precious gemstone. According to the ex-pat James, the ring is insured. Vanderpump Rules viewers watched as James freaked out because his fiance wore her new bling to work.

The epic proposal took place on the Coachella festival grounds. Instead of top headliners, James and Tom Sandoval turned the event into RChella, in honor of James’ soon-to-be wife. The entire group danced like it was 2019 and seemed to enjoy all that the “festival” had to offer. Bravo viewers hope that cameras stick around for the wedding planning, not to mention the ceremony and reception.

Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
