Uncharted Characters Come To Fortnite In Leaked Trailer

A newly leaked trailer has just revealed that Uncharted characters Nathan Drake and Chole Frazer are coming to Fortnite as playable character skins. There have been rumors of a crossover between Epic’s massive multiplayer battle royale sensation and Naughty Dog’s high-octane adventure series to commemorate the upcoming Uncharted movie in the form of a Chapter 3 Challenge event. What is known about this so far is that players will be tasked with uncovering hidden treasure with a map from the Uncharted series to unlock rare weapons and rewards.

Fortnite has featured plenty of guest appearances and crossover events based on popular video games, comics, and movies, with the most recent being the arrival of Spider-Man’s arch-nemesis the Green Goblin to Fortnite as part of the currently underway Chapter 3. On the gaming side of things, Halo’s Master Chief, God Of War’s Kratos, and Horizon: Zero Dawn’s Aloy have shown up as playable skins over the years, allowing fans to see these normally serious characters taking down enemy players and performing some hilarious Fortnite dance emotes.

PushSquare reports that Uncharted’s Nathan Drake and Chole Frazer will be joining this list soon, as a new trailer for Fortnite’s Uncharted character skins has just been leaked to YouTube via ShiinaBR. There will be two different costumes for each character, with Nathan Drake alternating between his appearance in 2016’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Tom Holland’s portrayal in the upcoming Uncharted movie. Likewise, players can choose between Chole’s outfit from 2017’s Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Sophia Ali’s likeness from the movie. Each costume will come with its own cosmetic items, such as a special Backpack Bling, Second Hand Saber pickaxe, Parushurama pickaxe, Seaplane glider, and a Journal emote. The trailer indicates that this Fornite Uncharted crossover will go live on February 17, a day before the Uncharted movie is set to hit theaters.

Players have been able to re-experience the most recent exploits of Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer thanks to the newly-released Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection, which includes remastered versions of Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy for PlayStation 5 and PC. Uncharted star Tom Holland recently partnered up with gaming streamer Jacksepticeye to promote the upcoming film by playing through a level of Uncharted 4, all while sharing insights into his gaming habits and how Nathan’s 2016 swan song played a massive influence on the live-action version’s portrayal of his earlier adventures.

So far, the Uncharted film hasn’t been met with the best reception from critics ahead of its global release next week, but that isn’t stopping Epic from releasing Fortnite’s new batch of Uncharted crossover content. Nathan and Chloe should feel right at home on Fortnite’s recently flipped Island, and players will now be able to have these two famous PlayStation treasure hunters face off against fellow mascots like Kratos and Aloy as part of Epic’s ever-growing roster of playable guest characters in Fortnite.
