The True Detective: Night Country finale trailer teases the conclusion to this season’s mystery. With Issa López taking over as showrunner for Nic Pizzolatto, the fourth season of HBO’s acclaimed anthology series follows the investigation into eight men who suddenly disappeared from the Tsalal Research Station during the first day of Alaska’s long winter night, which is connected to the unsolved murder of climate activist Annie Kowtok six years ago. The True Detective: Night Country episode 4 ending saw Danvers have an unexpected encounter with Otis Heiss, while Navarro sees her sister’s screaming ghost, which causes her eardrums to bleed.
