Top 10 Sagittarius Antagonists in TV Shows

Sagittarians usually have a great reputation as they are mostly energetic, optimistic, and very fun to be around. One of the defining features of a Sagittarius is their ability to look for the best in people and situations and inspire those around them. They are adventurers and travelers, always looking for their next source of hope.

As many positives that come with being a Sag, sometimes those qualities are found in people who are anything but optimistic and inspiring. When it comes to characters from our favorite movies and shows, they are usually the impatient and manipulative kind. Watching our favorite tv shows, let’s look at some of the Sagittarius antagonists.

Iroh – Avatar: The Last Airbender (2006-2008)

Top 10 Sagittarius Antagonists in TV Shows

Uncle Iroh was a very powerful fire bender and well-respected general of the fire nation before his son’s death changed him forever. Although he’s technically not a villain as he had a redemption arc in the show where he became an ally to Aang and a good mentor for Zuko, he still has a lot of glaring Sagittarius qualities.

He is one of the few fire benders that uses his power to intimidate and has been shown on several occasions to respect the other nations and the Spirit Gods that most Fire benders take advantage of. He enjoys hearing stories and exploring new places and although he appears lazy and unmotivated, he is wise and very well versed.

Long John Silver – Treasure Island (2012-)

He’s an evil pirate with a sense of adventure and taking the easy way out when he can. He’s manipulative and he knows how to get what he wants from people and his betrayals always sting.

He makes his life stealing treasure and will stop at nothing to get it, even if it means putting a child’s life in danger or his own crew. As a Sagittarius, he’s all about the “work hard and party harder”.

Bryce Walker – 13 Reasons Why (2016-2020)

13 Reasons Why Season 1 Bryce Walker Justin Prentice

Bryce is one of the worst people on this list for his crimes and his ability to get away with them. He’s a master manipulator, gaslighter, and his confidence makes him an even bigger villain and overall horrible person.

He’s smart, he knows how to use his privilege as an advantage, and he always wants to be in the spotlight. He knows how to make people gravitate towards him and he even almost managed to get the audience to feel bad for him after his death.

Godspeed – The Flash (2014-)

Godspeed is a rather new villain in The Flash and is the latest speedster rogue giving Barry a hard time. As his suit clearly states, he is someone who enjoys the spotlight and strives to be the fastest speedster in the multiverse and will do anything to achieve it, even if it means robbing and taking on The Flash.

As a Sagittarius, Godspeed is very impatient and is usually trying things that are way over his head. He’s a bit condescending and he prefers to work alone and do things his own way.

Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo – Narcos: Mexico (2018-)

Diego Luna plays the onscreen version of the real Mexican druglord who built an empire in the mid-80s in Mexico.  Like any show based on real-life characters, Luna put his own twist on the character based on studying the drug lord and his own expertise.

In the show Gallardo was a man who always promised more than he could deliver, believing that if there was a will, there was a way. He did a lot of things Mexico had never seen, including bringing together all the drug lords of the state and being one of the first to start dealing cocaine and even working with famed Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar.

Count Dooku – Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008-2020)

Based on the live-action version of Count Dooku, he adopts many of the habit and mannerisms with a few extra character revelations. As a Sith Lord, he is not as violent or as ruthless as others before him or after him but he is still nonetheless evil and manipulative.

He is always in the front lines leading and trying to take on the Jedi and although he is a Sith, he still respects the arts of being a Jedi and the warriors.

Chanel Oberlin – Scream Queens (2015-2016)

Chanel Oberlin

She may not seem like a psychotic killer but she is actually one of the antagonists with the most kills on this list. Channel is highly independent despite having a team of loyal followers and she is a likable character.

She knows how to say exactly what she needs to manipulate someone and finds a way to manipulate others to get what she wants and uses her charm to get away with her crimes.

Ramsay Bolton – Game Of Thrones (2010-2019)

Ramsay meets Jon Snow before the Battle of the Bastards in Game OF Thrones

Growing up as an outcast to his father and family, he did everything he could to earn his family name and his father’s respect. From “killing” the Starks to agreeing to marry Sansa to unite the families. He was evil and creative, a lot smarter than he seemed and he took great pride in being intimidating.

He took great pride in his torture methods and was an impatient and overachieving villain.

Thomas Barrow – Downtown Abbey (2010-2015)

One of the glaring Sagittarius characteristics that Thomas has is his unsympathetic attitude and his sneaky and sly way of getting what he wants. He has a lot of internal struggles that make him an unpleasant man and someone who rarely shows their good side.

He is only loyal and good to people he truly cares about which is a very small amount of people and instead of embracing who he is, he simply suppresses himself.

Duck Phillips – Mad Men ()

As the main antagonist for Don Draper throughout Mad Men, Duck was a very complex and complicated character. His crippling drinking problem kept him from a lot of opportunities and his outspoken and confident attitude led him to always butt heads with Don.

Despite his refusal of rejection, he wasn’t a good salesman and was very manipulative in trying to get what he wanted.
