Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Teams Up With Daredevil & Sony Marvel Heroes Against Kingpin In MCU Art

A brilliant new Spider-Man 4 fan poster imagines Tom Holland’s Spider-Man teaming up with Sony and MCU heroes in a battle against Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. Kingpin. Holland’s first MCU trilogy as Peter Parker concluded with 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, but future projects featuring the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man have already been confirmed by Marvel Studios and Sony. After the dramatic events of No Way Home, Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man 4 will tell a very different story for Peter Parker’s wall-crawler, perhaps perfectly tying into the MCU’s ongoing street-level storyline and bringing him to odds with a terrifying new villain.

While Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has faced the Vulture, Mysterio, Thanos, the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus, he is yet to battle one of his most recognizable enemies from Marvel Comics. D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. Kingpin, finally faces Spider-Man in a new fan-made poster shared by ANTIZZ, but Peter Parker isn’t alone in this battle.

The art imagines the MCU’s Spider-Man teaming up with new heroes Daredevil and the Punisher, who previously fought Kingpin in Marvel Television’s Daredevil series. However, they are also joined by Sony’s Miles Morales and Sydney Sweeney’s Spider-Woman, hinting at Spider-Man 4 being an epic crossover event.

Why Kingpin Needs To Be Spider-Man 4’s Villain

While Wilson Fisk’s Kingpin has become more commonly associated with Matt Murdock’s Daredevil in recent years, he actually debuted in Marvel Comics as an antagonist to Spider-Man. Since 1967’s The Amazing Spider-Man #50, New York City crime-lord Kingpin has been making life difficult for the wall-crawler, but the pair have never met in live-action. Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man 4 could change this, and the perfect opportunity has been created after the events of Phase 5’s Marvel Spotlight series Echo. Echo teased Fisk’s future as Mayor of New York, suggesting he will have a major role in the MCU’s upcoming street-level stories.

There has been speculation that Spider-Man 4 could introduce Tom Holland’s Peter Parker to a number of new street-level heroes in the MCU, perhaps including Netflix’s Defenders, who were recently hinted at officially being MCU canon. Kingpin was a major antagonist in Marvel Television’s Defenders Saga, so if these heroes return in the MCU’s future, it’s likely they’ll deal with Wilson Fisk’s criminal activities once again. Kingpin becoming Mayor of New York City would have a huge impact on these heroes, and this story could be told in a variety of upcoming MCU projects, including Spider-Man 4.
