TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge Soundtrack Will Have Wu-Tang Clan Rappers

Announced just days before its release, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge has confirmed the game’s soundtrack will include legendary rappers from Wu-Tang Clan. The highly-anticipated beat’em up side-scroller promises to take players back in time with classic arcade pixel style and action. Confirmed during Summer Game Fest 2022, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is set to release on June 16.

TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is quickly becoming one of the most highly-anticipated games of the summer, with publisher Dotemu releasing a slew of new details to keep interest in the game high. As well as experiencing the classic arcade action of the 80s and 90s with their favorite Turtles, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge fans can also look forward to additional characters like Casey Jones, as well as new features including a 6-player co-op mode for online multiplayer mayhem. Even purchasing a physical copy of the game comes with a feeling of nostalgia, as it’s been confirmed that players will be able to claim a free personal pizza thanks to a TMNT and Pizza Hut promotion.

Sharing the news in a press release, Dotemu has revealed that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge soundtrack will include a brand-new track from Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah and Raekwon. Sharing a clip to Twitter, the track is officially titled “We Ain’t Came To Lose,” and is composed by Tee Lopes. The new song already seems to be a hit with TMNT fans, as the Twitter post has received over 6,000 Likes at the time of writing. Fans can pre-order the TMNT soundtrack on vinyl or CD via KidKatana.

TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is looking promising in the gameplay seen so far, and now it seems its soundtrack will be equally as impressive. The game is likely to be a must-play for not only TMNT fans, but also those with a passion for the retro visuals and pixel art of classic side-scrolling arcade games. The Turtles have been designed with their iconic 1987 style in mind, which fits well with the new “We Ain’t Came To Lose” track. With the title’s release date steadily approaching, it won’t be long before players will get to try out the game for themselves.

Summer Game Fest 2022 didn’t only confirm the June 16 release date of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, but also its inclusion as a Day One Xbox Game Pass title. This means that curious TMNT fans can play the full game on the day of its launch as part of their subscription cost. The game being part of the Xbox Game Pass service from day one is likely to bolster interest even further, meaning even more players can experience not only the next adventure of the Turtles, but also the latest track from Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah and Raekwon.
