From left to right and top to bottom, the album covers are “Demon Days” by Gorillaz, “Abbey Road” by The Beatles, “Queen II” by Queen, and the live album “2019-2020 World Tour In Your Area – Tokyo Dome” by BLACKPINK. Will There Be A TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, which is the latest reimagining of the iconic comic book characters, was a resounding critical and commercial success. The animated movie, produced on a $70 million budget, ended up grossing over $180 million at the box office. It’s also beloved by both critics and audiences alike, sharing 96 and 90 percent scores on Rotten Tomatoes, respectively. However, before any of this acclaim, Paramount showed tremendous confidence in the reboot by announcing TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2 before the first film was even released.

The TMNT: Mutant Mayhem mid-credits scene also introduces Shredder, the turtles’ arch-nemesis, who will likely have a major role in the sequel, along with the evil Techno Cosmic Research Institute (TCRI). In addition to the already-announced sequel, a spinoff series titled Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is also in development with two seasons already planned. The series, set to premiere on Paramount+, will act as a bridge between the first and second Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movies.
