Titans Season 4 Sinister Brother Blood Story Teased By Star

Titans actor Joseph Morgan teases Brother Blood’s sinister season 4 story, as The Originals star will be the big bad of the series’ new season. Since the start of the series, Titans has utilized multiple villains from the DC Universe, including various foes of the actual Teen Titans. Throughout Titans season 1, the team went up against one of the team’s most popular antagonists in the form of Raven’s biological father, Trigon. Titans season 2 tackled Slade Wilson, a.k.a. Deathstroke, as he went after the resurrected super-hero team.

While Titans season 3 focused on Red Hood and Scarecrow as the villains, season 4 will again use a primary foe from the Teen Titans comics. This time, Sebastian Sanger, a.k.a. Brother Blood, will take on Nightwing and his band of heroes. Joseph Morgan, best known for playing Klaus Mikaelsson in The CW franchise, The Vampire Diaries, will be boarding Titans season 4 as Brother Blood in a series regular position. Production on the Titans season 4 finale is currently taking place in Toronto, Canada, as the show eyes its fall return to HBO Max.

As Titans season 4 is heading towards the end of filming, Morgan shared how excited he is to play Brother Blood. The 41-year-old star, who will be the second actor to play Brother Blood in live-action, teased that his incarnation will be very “damaged.” Morgan goes on to talk about how Brother Blood’s journey is something he is convinced viewers will appreciate, seeing Sebastian come to his throne of power, sharing the following:

Since he got booked on Titans season 4, Morgan has been very interactive with fans, sharing his experience shooting the show throughout production. Out of any of the actors on the HBO Max drama, Morgan has made it clear how excited he is to bring Brother Blood to life, including teasing and responding to users about seeing him in fan-made costume art. While Morgan’s Brother Blood will be the primary antagonist, he will also be joined by Franka Potente’s May Bennett, a.k.a. Mother Mayhem, setting up the potential arrival of Chruch of Blood in Titans season 4.

Compared to the Brother Blood who appeared on Arrow, Morgan’s iteration in Titans season 4 will likely be more comic accurate, given the larger scope of that universe. Since Titans can do more graphic content, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Brother Blood become one of the series’ most ardent foes in the show’s whole run. While not confirmed yet by HBO Max and Warner Bros. TV, Titans season 4 will release in the fall, according to star Brenton Thwaites.
