This Superb Merrin Cosplay Looks Like Jedi: Fallen Order Has Been Brought To Life

A superb Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order cosplay has brought Dathomirian Nightsister Merrin to life. Merrin was introduced in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, becoming one of Order 66 survivor Cal Kestis’ companions in his fight against the Empire. Though not a Jedi herself, Merrin is incredibly capable and powerful, a strong wielder of Dathomirian Nightsister magick. Merrin has a very distinctive appearance, her pale grey skin and dark facial markings complementing her red Dathomirian garb and her green-colored powers.

It is this look from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order that cosplayer Tiffany Dean Cosplay has so effortlessly recreated. The outfit, the statement gold necklace, the hairstyle, and the characteristic facial markings complete the ensemble.

Merrin’s history as a Dathomirian Nightsister makes her a compelling character – certainly one who deserves to be fleshed out further, and be seen in more than one Star Wars property.

Where Could Merrin Appear Next In Star Wars?

Dathomirian-Nightsister-Merrin

So far, Merrin has only appeared in Fallen Order, its sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and the novel that took place between the games, Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars. However, her background as a Dathomirian Nightsister and her story in Survivor makes it possible for her to be featured in other Star Wars properties. In Survivor, for instance, Merrin is heavily involved with The Hidden Path (first introduced in Obi-Wan Kenobi), a secret network dedicated to smuggling Jedi and other innocents persecuted by the Empire to safety. Any show or movie that dealt with The Hidden Path could feature Merrin.

Additionally, Ahsoka season 1 strongly emphasized the power of the Dathomirian Nightsisters. Now that Thrawn and the three Great Mothers of the Nightsisters have escaped Star Wars’ secondary galaxy and returned to Dathomir, the Great Mothers may have plans to resurrect and reestablish the society of the Nightsisters. Merrin, who is one of the few Nightsisters still alive after the Separatists slaughtered their people at Palpatine’s behest, would likely want to be part of that, too, especially if Cal is gone by that time. But, first and foremost, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Survivor deserve another sequel.
