Though it may not feel like it at first, Palworld becomes resource-expensive once higher-quality items are needed. For someone unprepared, building a standard single-shot rifle could take hours of grinding, which could feel unworthy of the effort. However, if properly prepared, these expensive items could be produced in mass rapidly, albeit the cost will stay the same.
As one reaches the endgame of Palworld, many harder-to-get resources become necessary, like Sulfur, Pal Metal Ingots, Gunpowder, and more. There are workarounds for getting some of these resources, but even with those it will take time. The caveat to this is if one has some of the best mining bases that can produce these high-priority resources in massive amounts in a short period. Some Pals also drop these resources upon death, but that is not a reliable way of resource gathering and is better done in small amounts while exploring.

Best Location For Resources In Palworld
Thanks to Youtuber Dauntus, players now have an exact location to gather unlimited resources. This spot is a little left of the Verdash boss fight, up on a mountaintop with the exact coordinates of 188 and -39. This base is home to eight ore nodes along with six coal nodes, making it the ultimate location to produce ingots. Regular ingots only take the ore itself, whereas refined ingots will take the ore and coal smelted in an Improved Furnace. There are also Pal Metal Ingots, but those require an electric furnace and replace the coal requirement with Paldium fragments.
Dauntus also shows some tips for setting up a truly efficient base to produce unlimited ingots. The first and most important step is not to destroy any of the nodes before setting up a Palbox. If these nodes are destroyed before the area is claimed, they will not respawn, whereas if they are there when the area is claimed, the nodes will respawn regularly. Once that is accomplished, the base can be set up as desired, but these tips can prove to be effective for both Pals and trainers.
This base can also be used to produce the ingot-required items by setting up multiple assembly lines. The most notable of these would be the weapons, bullets, and every Pal Sphere. Multiple Electric Furnaces will also drastically help speed up the ingot-making process, but be sure to have chests immediately next to them to avoid walking around over-encumbered. Besides those, make sure to include the Pal necessities like food, baths to relax, and beds they can sleep on. It is not necessary to make the highest quality bed, so some resources can be spared here.
Other Great Resource Locations In Palworld
As the map of Palworld is large and other resources are needed, there are other premier locations to build a base. The first location is south of the volcano at coordinates -341, 566. This spot will have more ore nodes than sulfur, but is one of the best sports to farm either resource. In this regard, this spot can be crucial for getting sulfur in Palworld and always helps to gather more ore, which one will need a near-endless supply of anyway. The surrounding locations will also have sulfur nodes, making it a smaller trek to acquire, even if done by hand.
Another great base spot is at -571, -648, in the middle of Mount Obsidian. This spot is similar to the one Dauntus shows off but has more coal than it does ore. This could make it a great spot to help fill in for any lacking coal supplies at the first base if both are used. The only caveat is this base is in a hot climate, meaning Pal trainers will need to have proper heat-resistant gear, or they will slowly die. This base will also have a Skill Fruit Tree nearby that can be checked regularly for new Skill Fruits as a bonus.
Locations In Palworld For Early Game Bases
Before one can settle at one of these spots, it will be crucial to have the start to smoothly transition from one base to another. A great starting base for this is behind the Desolate Church at 74, -400. This location only has ore nodes and will be slightly cut off due to the church’s structure, but it is a very helpful early-game base to get a bunch of ore and stay safe from raids. Even if one does not want to build a base here, it is a very important location to remember for early-game ore due to the fast travel points closeness.
Another great early-game spot is south of the Plateau of Beginnings at 264, -548. Inside, the base will only have Paldium fragments, but this is handy for being able to craft plenty of Pal Spheres. The real benefit is the dungeon located close by that can be farmed regularly for ore, experience, and higher-quality dungeon Pals. The large space and coastal location are also easy to defend during raids, making this spot a premier, if not the top, choice for those looking to have the best start possible.
