The Walking Dead: World Beyond Cast & Character Guide

The Walking Dead: World Beyond Cast & Character Guide

The Walking Dead: World Beyond cast primarily consists of teenagers and young adults given that the series is meant to follow kids as they venture out into the post-apocalyptic world for the first time. Taking place 10 years after the initial outbreak, The Walking Dead: World Beyond is the second spinoff and third show overall in The Walking Dead franchise, which itself celebrates its 10th anniversary in late October 2020.

Envisioned as a two-season limited series, The Walking Dead: World Beyond connects subplots from both The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead, particularly revealing new details about the organization that took Rick Grimes away in The Walking Dead season 9 called the Civic Republic (aka the helicopter group). But while a focus for franchise fans will be on learning more about the Civic Republic and their alliance with other communities, not to mention their plans, World Beyond still has a unique story to tell with its characters.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond story begins as four teenagers leave their home and experience the dangers of the zombie apocalypse for the first time, and then they are ultimately chased by two security officers who want to bring them back. To tell this story, The Walking Dead: World Beyond cast has brought together some new and familiar faces, but not anyone from the other two shows – yet.
