The Jonas brother popped the big question in Crete, Greece, where the two shared an intimate vacation celebrating Priyanka’s 36th birthday. Nick waited until the clock struck midnight to propose to the actress. Priyanka’s birthday falls a day short of their proposal date, which Nick strategically planned because he didn’t want to propose to her directly on her birthday.
Nick and Priyanka’s love story is a prime example of a modern-day romance – it all started in the DMs. In September 2016, the “Jealous” singer slid into Priyanka’s Twitter DMs saying, “I’m hearing from a few mutual friends that we should meet.” Priyanka responded by informing her soon-to-be husband that her team had access to her social media accounts and to “just text her.” Due to their busy Hollywood star schedules, the pair briefly crossed paths for months. However, with Nick’s persistent attitude, everything worked out and the actress and singer got married on December 1, 2018. To honor both of their cultures, they had a western wedding and a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony the following day.

Nick surprised his wife with a beautiful rooftop dinner last night in celebration of her 39th birthday. The night included a private performance by The Manchester String Quartet. Priyanka shared the romantic dinner on her Instagram story and thanked her husband for the stunning night. An insider told E! that Nick is “super romantic with Priyanka and loves to go all out for her for both big occasions and more private things.“
