The Voice: Man Arrested After Pulling Knife Outside Ariana Grande’s House

The Voice coach Ariana Grande had a scare at her Hollywood Hills home last week where a man was arrested after pulling out a knife outside her house. This isn’t the first time the pop star has had unwanted guests show up to her LA home. A similar incident occurred last year when a deranged fan threatened to kill Ariana.

In March 2020, Fidel Henriquez was arrested at Ariana’s home after sneaking onto her property and leaving her threatening letters at her door. Henriquez followed a delivery truck onto Ariana’s property and went through her trash before attempting to approach the singer. The obsessed fan then knocked on her front door to deliver her a “love letter.” However, the note was no love letter. Through the handwritten note, Henriquez expressed how he wanted to end Ariana’s life. Two months later, a judge granted both Ariana and her mother, Joan Grande, a five-year restraining order against the unstable fan. Not only does Henriquez have to stay 100 yards from Ariana, Joan and their properties, but he cannot contact them through social media.

A young man was arrested after trespassing onto Ariana’s property around 2 a.m. on Friday, September 10 and flashing a knife while refusing to leave the property. According to TMZ, The Voice star’s security called the police after 23-year old Aharon Brown demanded that he see Ariana then displayed the deadly weapon. Upon being arrested by LAPD, Brown now faces a felony brandishing charge. According to the report, Ariana did not come out during the incident. However, it was not reported whether or not she was home at the time.

Brown was taken into custody at LAPD’s Hollywood station and is being held on a $50,000 bail. Sources told TMZ that Ariana has been granted a temporary restraining order against the 23-year-old and will have to attend an upcoming hearing for a permanent one. The “Thank U, Next” singer has not commented on the incident but has been promoting season 21 of The Voice and her upcoming beauty brand, “r.e.m. beauty.”

It’s frightening to think of how many safety precautions celebrities like Ariana have to take in order to secure their well-being. At just 28-years-old, The Voice coach has experienced not only trespassing fans but also life-threatening events, like her 2017 Manchester concert that resulted in a man-made bomb attack. Other young celebrities like Kendall and Kylie Jenner have experienced their own alleged stalkers show up at their Hollywood Hills homes.
