In the recent solicitation for Flash #763 from DC Comics, it’s revealed that Flash will tangle with Trickster, and the secret history of his Flash ring will be revealed. This issue will also feature a brand new creative team behind the wheel of the ongoing series. What mysteries does the ring hold for fans to discover? Will Trickster wear Flash’s suit?
If the cover artwork is any indication, Trickster will be getting his hands on Barry Allen’s ring somehow, which will most likely be the narrative springboard that reveals the ring’s secret history, whatever that history may be. As of right now, fans know that the Flash’s ring tightly compresses his super suit and holds it for him until he needs it at a moment’s notice. Aside from that, are there any other features the ring is capable of? Will fans learn that the ring came from somewhere special?
In any case, the solicitation for Flash #763 reveals that the issue will seem like a standard affair for the Scarlet Speedster at first, taking on the Trickster in a typical manner. However, the issue will apparently feature a wild last-page twist and cliffhanger, supposedly involving Barry’s Flash ring and Trickster potentially getting the upper hand. The solicitation warns readers not to skip to the end or spoil the ending for their friends, seemingly teasing a rather large pay-off that will have fans talking afterwards.
