Lesa Milan is the newest face to join the housewives club on The Real Housewives of Dubai. She will be joining her other castmates who are from all walks of life but have decided to make Dubai their home. So what will newbie Lesa bring to the table?
The Real Housewives of Dubai will be the eleventh city in the Bravo franchise to debut, and fans couldn’t be more excited. The newest franchise was first announced by Andy Cohen in November 2021 on The Today Show and will be the network’s first international city. RHODubai is set to follow six amazingly successful women as they navigate their work and personal lives, and fans are thrilled to learn all about the incoming ladies. Without a doubt, this newest series will have fans on the edge of their seats, especially with the unique mix of personalities.
Even though Lesa has the least amount of Instagram followers at a mere 96k, that doesn’t stop the fashion designer from hustling. Bravo fans may be surprised to learn that Lesa designed and developed her own line of maternity clothes called Mina Roe Maternity. This isn’t any little brand either, as celebrities like Beyoncé and Khadijah Haqq McCray have worn her pieces. Similar to the other ladies, Lesa, who will be on RHODubai with Caroline Stanbury, wasn’t born in Dubai and is originally from Jamaica. She is a globetrotter and moved to Miami before relocating to Dubai. Fans will get to know Lesa for who she is as she observes the drama around her before she jumps in heads first.
Lesa was a former Miss Jamaica Universe contestant in 2009 and even entered the Miss Caribbean World pageant in 2010 (via People). She also is a former member of the cast of College Hill, which aired on the network BET. While Lesa is undoubtedly beautiful, she is more than just a pretty face. Lesa attended Florida Atlantic University, where she studied broadcast journalism and minored in hospital management. Lesa, who will be on RHODubai with Chanel Ayan, was also rumored to have dated Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt before settling down.
Needless to say, this The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member will surely be turning heads. It will be interesting to see how each woman, including Lesa, navigates the experience of becoming a Bravo housewife. While there will always be heaps of drama, fans are hoping to see lifelong friendships be made as well. Lesa will have her time to shine when the series premieres on June 1 on Bravo.
